Last year CubeCart joined the gophp5 initiative to take advantage of PHP 5.2. This has come with a great deal of support of our current users who spotted this on our homepage.

CubeCart 4.2.0 will ONLY work on hosting accounts with PHP 5.2 or above. If you hosting doesn't support this and if they won't upgrade it CubeCart 4.1.1 will remain available for the foreseeable future. Please note that PHP 4 reached its end of life on 2007-12-31. PHP 5 is now very stable and has been available for over three years. We will be making further enhancements to CubeCart to take advantage of more of these features resulting in a lighter, more efficient and securer code base.
