I installed version 3.0.0 from Fantastico and really liked it except for the problem with PayPal. After reading the fourms I decied the best thing to do was do a clean install of v3.0.4. I wipe out the old version and followed the instructions on installation of the new one to include may the 2 files from https://www.cubecart.com/build/

Everything APPEARS to be installed correctly and I have renamed the install directory to v300install.

My problem is with mySQL. I get the following error when I try to access the store at http://www.texasgracegifts.net

"MySQL Error Occured
1045: Access denied for user: 'douglasb@server.trunet.org' (Using password: YES)"

I will gladly pay anyone, via PAYPAL, if they can come in to the server and fix this problem for me. I've spent all day messing with this and I now admit defeat.

I got it working now. This is what I did.

I changed the user permission in phpAdmin. Then I changed them back to ALL and the installation worked!

Good now change your passwrod that you posted
