How do I get Cubecart to take the credit card details and store them in its database, we process credit cards in store so I dont need to use one of the plugins.

You would need the Manual Credit Card mod. I think it is available at cubecart.org, if not then please post a request for it there. Alternatively you could use Mals-e which stores the card details for you securely for you to download and process.

You will also want to consider security implications of manual credit card processing, and implications of chargebacks if something goes wrong with the transaction.
