i want to open an online store selling badges - which version of cubecart would be best for me?

how do you download/install cubecart?

when your customers pay with credit cards etc... can you recieve the money into a bank account... if not, how do you recieve the money?

Yes it is and fully functional, you purchase a licence to remove the copyright.

Yes, but its better if you contact paypal for further details
