Hi..

I am new to cube cart.. And i had partualy set up a cart and then an upgrade came out so i upgraded..

But this lossed me the additions and changes i made to the skin...

I re-edited the skin and made a coppy so that in future it wouldnt deleat it..

But then an other upgrade came up.. so i did that and the changes i made to the front page disapeared..

I have now made additions to the contrys (added Guernsey (GG - GGY - 813 if anybody wanted to kno)) and have added all the poastage costs and have added site documents (pages at the bottom)

Will i lose all this if i upgrade to 3.1.0 when it comes out (or any other little upgrades??)

(note: I use softwere called "Fantastico" to upgrade and install softwere online)

From what i know some things will not be lost but it is better if we wait till its released

I recommend learning how to upgrade yourself rather than use Fantastico as well. Fantastico overwrites *every* file. If you do it via an FTP program, you can choose which ones to overwrite yourself. For example, I skip the languages files (which includes your homepage text) as I've found they usually aren't necessary to upgrade and preserves your customizations.
