Just in case you need to know ... I know nothing about MySQL (although my day job is as a DBA - MS stuff), a tiny amount about PHP, a moderate amount about HTML/CSS, bit of FTP ...
1. Uploaded the Upload folder to server (step a below), and navigated to the homepage just to check it was there (step c) ... and it is. But step b?? From my webhost's control panel I've set up a MySQL database but I've no idea where it's been installed, how to assign a user to it, or what the bit about ROOT below is about.
2. I've uploaded the Upload folder to an SSL secured server. Is that a good idea? As I don't know where the database is I don't know if it's on that server or not. Hope that's clear ... the site I want to add some ecommerce pages to is on an ordinary Linux server, but I've got a secured domain with SSL which is where the Upload folder has gone.
Any advice gratefully received!

| 1. Auto Method
+------------------------------------------------
a. Upload all the files and folders to your server from the "Upload" folder.
This can be to anywhere of your choice.
e.g. /public_html/store or /public_html
b. Make sure you have installed a MySQL Database which has a user assigned to it
DO NOT USE YOUR ROOT USERNAME AND ROOT PASSWORD
c. Visit the store homepage
e.g. http://www.example.com or http://www.example.com/store/
