I have been trying to move a cubecart install from one server to another.

It was made in version 3.0.13 - i have installed this a few times on the current server with no problems.

on the new server it won't let me past step 2 and gives me this error

#1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'DEFAULT CHARSET=latin1 AUTO_INCREMENT=1' at line 28

When i tried saving the current database and importing it into the new one via phpadmin I get the same error.

cubecart version 3.0.15 installs fine onto the new server....... so i assume that there is some incompatabiliy issue.......?

I have currently installed 3.0.15 and am going to overwrite all the files with my current 3.0.13 installation (except global.inc.php) - but i don't hold much hope for this method.....

any advice from anybody please?

well i have just copied all the files from my 3.0.13 install over the top of the fresh 3.0.15 (except for global.inc.php) and all seems to be working...... although i have lost all my products (no big deal - i will just reenter them)

logic, though, says to me that i will encounter some errors at some stage........ involving the compatablilty between a 3.0.13 cubecart using a 3.0.15 mysql table system.......

Is this going to cause me any serious problems?
