Search giant Google has launched its payment service, Google Checkout, in the UK.
Checkout will compete with both the mainstream card processing services used by many online merchants and auction site eBay's Paypal service.
Well, thats pretty cool
I wonder if UK users get AdWords perks? Something read up tomorrow..

Regarding incentives. You get free transaction fees up to ten times the amount you spend on Adwords. So, if you spend £500 per month on adwords, you can receive £5,000 per month in transactions through Google Checkout FOC...
After that, its 1.5% plus £0.15 per transaction, which is very reasonable compared to Paypal, and even some merchant CC accounts.
And it is available now. There's some dude in Cubecart.org that is selling a Google Checkout mod, but my guess is that the next release will have it as standard.
