Just installed CC today and finding it superior to OSC but have run into a wall with this banner rotation question.

Sure would appreciate some tips - I find it very very hard to believe that there is not a banner rotation in CubeCart - - such a simple feature that is even available in stock osCommerce - - I've spent a couple of hours searching these forums, the archived forums at cc.org and looking through the various mods but can't find anything.

Will somebody please tell me something like "You're an idiot - here's the link you're looking for!" or similar?

Personally I use phpAdsNew.

There is no banner rotation built into CC no. Just insert code from something like phpadsnew whereever you want the banner to appear in the cart template.

BUT

be aware that any links wont take too kindly to ssl [taking from a shared ssl persective] esp javascript dosent like ~username.

As i have no current working own domain ssl; i cant comment on that perspective
