Could someone telll me [and others] what file chmod permissons that the cart should be set up for, just in case i have [and others] have set them to 777 ect instead of 644/444 ect for a live store?

Install really tells you this. Change config.inc.php back to 644 after install, leave the others it told you to change to 777 set at 777 (the images folders).
