I m a newbie, i want to install cubecart using my domain (www.name.com). Why the link must call at www.name.com/shop. How to install if i want its just address www.name.com?

You may install it that way, too. You only need to know the name of the root folder for the type of server on which you are installing. That type of installation is commonly called a "root folder installation."
One root folder name that is often encountered is /public_html.
If you do not see a folder by that name, contact Tech Support at your hosting service and ask them for the name of the root folder.
