devil.gif Hi,
I am looking into this support but I still not found the solution to fix my problem, I believe that many people has the same problem and someone change the script.

My problem is. After I test purchase product from cart. I did not get email notify what I purchased. And also Admin never get notify email when someone purchase the goods.

I setting like this.

Email Address:
Mail Sending Method: SMTP
SMTP Host: mail.mydomain.com
SMTP Port: 25
Use Authentication? Yes
SMTP Username: user+mydomain.com
SMTP Password: mypassword

But if I change setting to be "mail()" no mail notify to admin and buyer when purchase but if I change status buyer will get email to notify his status.

I checked my error log I found this.
[Fri Apr 27 22:20:18 2007] [error] [client 202.142.196.xxx] Directory index forbidden by rule: /home/xxxxxxx/public_html/shoptest/admin/includes/rte/editor/

I installed CubeCart by Fantastico auto install (CPANEL)
I installed in directory name SHOPTEST.

Please advise with thanks. wacko.gif

1. Try to leave SMTP host blank (default localhost)

2. use another port (try 26)

3. use @ instead of +

Don't necessarily try these all at once. One at a time, then in combination. Good luck!

I believe that the customer will not receive an order email when using Print Order Form although i believe there is a mod available to do this. The customer should receive an email when you have changed the order status, ie to confirm that you have received the money for the order.

Regarding your question as to why the developer has not responded on your topic:
This is a community forum, not an official support forum so although the developer (Al) does occassionally post on the forum it isnt done regularly. In order to receive official support from the developer you will need to purchase the license which then entitles you to use the support ticket system.

Hope that helps.

I would assume that being this is such a big issue they would have the sense to post a thread to fix this nonsense. After spending hours installing and testing this thing while they are hanging the 30 day trial thing over your heads; it would be the decent thing to do.

They are the ones that will losing money as people like me are getting fed up.

Try using the Mail() option instead of SMTP.

Hi, Try changing

SMTP Host: mail.mydomain.com to SMTP Host: localhost

This is the only difference i have to your settings and i have had these settings working for some time.

Hope it helps.
