Email Goober. He'll fix it
You are so right.
If anyone doubts he will make things right, talk to me. He logged onto our server, and quickly identified that the problem wasn't his script... in fact, it wasn't even our installtion of it... it was MS's IE and its cache!
We deleted our cache, and this solved not only this problem, but that fact that IE wouldn't go to the main corp site with the www (only without it). This was the result of our DNS provider deleting then reinstating the CNAME record. This caused IE to download an "empty" home page into the cache. And despite the setting to get the page live "each" time, it failed to do so untill we cleared the cache.
This resulted in his 3rd Party mod not running properly, and us to panic.
