due to me adding some mods to my site if i do the upgrade will these mods be affect and would i have to re do the mods..

If you do a manual upgrade where you go through all the changes and apply them manually then you wont lose your mods but i havent looked at how many changes there are yet so im not sure if thats viable time wise. If you just overwrite all the files with the new ones then you will need to install your mods again.

i have seen a program mentioned in the pinned posts for comparing 2 files side by side so that differences can be compared..
its called beyond compare i think...
