How do you reset the Administrative Password?

Login to the Admin panel, goto Security/Password.... and change it!

Simple

If that was not your question and you want to change the password because you forgot it.... Goto login and request a password!

OR

You can login to PHPmyAdmin and manually change it in there!

The client changed it, lost it and can't remember it. My question was about resetting and not changing. Sorry...

It is possible to change the Admin password using PHPmyAdmin...

You should create a user account with a password, go into PHPMyAdmin and look for that user + password... copy the md5 encrypted password and find the area where your lost admin password is stored.

Edit the password field and paste the users password into it, you should be able to login to the admin panel then!

There may be a snag though... you may need to export the store_config section, edit it to include the Admin name and Password and then import it again...

Sounds like too much work????
