Hi,

I had a perfectly working store (albeit only a demo store). I have installed all the updates etc..

After the updates the store still worked fine without any hitches whatsoever.

Yesterday, I went to log in to the admin page to make a few alterations and now I get the following error:

MySQL Error Occured
1045: Access denied for user '********'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

I get the same error when trying to access the shop front as well.

I do not have any mods installed.

I have enquired with my host and nothing has been changed their end.

Has anyone else come across this?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

It basically means that the database password is incorrect. Login to cPanel to change the password then open /includes/global.inc.php and change the password to the new one, upload and all should be good.

It sounds like when you upgraded you also overwrote the global.inc.php file which you shouldnt do.
