I have somehow managed to move the About us Contact Us bar which was at the bottom of the screen to a small spot on the Right hand side

Anybody know how to fix this up

sounds like you've either moved the {sitedocs} quotevars into the right hand colomn or you have inadvertently removed a closing </div> tag before the {sitedocs} quote vars - which would give same effect.

Most likely place you've done this is:

skins/your skin/styleTemplates/global/index.tpl

Note that the above is not the only thing that could have caused what you describe...If it's not obvious when you look there - please post back and provide more detail - a url if possible - it helps if we can see what code you are looking at.
