Well, it's all very interesting to see the logo rebranding. I'm sure there's reasons behind it.
I'm wondering, will an update be due shortly to change over logos in the software?

Any plans to re-do the forums with the same brand? I would have thought it would look better and make more sense to do them together. Without the post I'd have never known given I only visit the forums.

You you knew just how busy yesterday was you'd understand! LOL

Looks cool!

groovy baby yea!

Should I update the logo on ccf.org now?
I do suggest however you look at the site with IE6

... the homepage and find out more page were the only two I looked at, but both have one issue or another in IE. Looks good in Firefox.
Yeah man why not.

Oooh from our testing it was all on in IE.
I'll make sure it is checked out.

Was there a poll taken? Not that we, the users, would have any legitimate claim to toss in our two cents.
Personally, I think the blue swoosh - white stripe has class, while the boggle-eyed "CC" looks so... pedestrian.

Common place, everyone doing it, conformity.
I suppose he feels that the old look was more distinctive.
Maybe

The majority seem to like it. The problem with the old logo was that it was completely impossibly to work with. Poor for print, impossible on banners and resizing destroyed the pixel text. Oooh and our new forum skin looks the bees knees.

WHOAH!
I've come onto the wrong forum.
No, wait! CRIIIIIIIKEY!

Very fitting new avatar by the way Al.
Can you see the resemblance?

I think the forums look great! I hope everyone else does. We just have to do the customer control panel next.

Looks great Al!
Now you just need to make navigation around the elements of the site smooth, and fix the IE6 bugs on the front pages
I love this smiley!

Hey well done Al, its been a while since i been on the forums but I love the new style and i love the forum theme, though i agree that you need to make it now so can navigate between the forums and the site easily and at least a CC smiley
Don't give me all the credit. Infact I did the least.

I'll check it in IE.

Fix the forum clock!
There is a big red warning in the Admin CP. The setting are correct.
QUOTE
If you have chosen the correct timezone and the clock is an hour out, this is because of daylight savings time and your members can correct this by editing their 'Board settings' via their User Control Panel.

My forum is broken, and I don't know what to do to fix it...
Before, it listed the topic, and replies in full, so it was easy to read the posts.
Now, I'm getting:
- the first topic post
- a single post in replies
- a box called Posts in this topic - Listing part of the first line of the posts
How do I change this back? I can't work like this and I'm going on strike until its fixed.

(Seriously, I am

)
It's been like this for a couple of days.
Hi Brent. I'm in the office today feel free to give me a call. 01279 461724.

Up in the top right of the forum topic, underneath the [Add Reply] & [New Topic] buttons, there is an options link.
Click that, get the drop down, and then select: Switch to Standard
now, back to work before Al docks our pay!
LOL!! Having mode=threaded in the address bar sets a cookie to set it in threaded mode. Horrible.
We figured it out by deleting the browser cookies. Thanks for your help Will.

Al and I were looking everywhere but there! You know what, I've never noticed that options box before.
Clearing the cookies did fix it, and it is all back to working again, as am I.
This is a crazy Bank Holiday! Thanks to you both.

Clearing the cookies did fix it,
Aye, 'cause the "standard" invision option is Standard view mode, so until a cookie is set dictating otherwise, it'll show standard. *Sometimes* the setting seems to change itself, however selecting that option I pointed out, would sort it, as it alters the stored cookie
Anyway - its 20c outside, sun is shining.... beautiful!
