I'm looking for cheap webhosting i've found this site. <link deleted> Which offers unlimited webhosting for £1.99 per/year. Has anyone ever used cheap hosting before? i have seen lots advertised on ebay as well and they all seem to have good reviews. What are peoples opinions?
You really should think about searching the forum before posting. Threads like these ALWAYS get closed down because they invite rule breaking which is another thing you should take a look at

Over the 5+ years I've been online, I've found hosting THAT cheap comes at a steep price -- reliability.
Companies that offer hosting at such ridiculously low prices are completely overloading their servers, which means that there will be times when your website is completely unresponsive. You'll lose customers if your website isn't available to them when they want it to be.
Just think of the math. A dedicated server rents for nearly $100 per month, or $1200 per year (not even considering adminstration and support costs). (I think that translates to around £600 per year.) In order to break even, they would have to put over 300 websites on one server, which would be okay if they were low-traffic sites that didn't use many resources. Once you get a few shopping cart sites, Web 2.0 sites, free download sites, and other resource intensive sites on the server, you've got a recipe for trouble.
If all you're looking to do is to play around a bit and get a feel for running a website before deciding to actually get involved, then that sort of thing is okay. But if you're serious about building an online business, don't put your store in the most run-down part of town (i.e. - poor performing servers).
Compared to the cost of renting a physical space for a retail store, renting server space is dirt cheap anyways. $50 a year will get you into a decent webhost. Personally, I spend $55 per month on my hosting, but then I'm also running a dozen sites and I want the security that comes with a VPS (Virtual Private Server).
