So Im creating some options for my products, and for each option name Im putting some attributes. But then at step 3, "Assign option & value to product" , I select an option name, and then I find ALL option attributes available for me to choose from. I mean ALL, as in ALL the attributes for ALL the options in my database !

I thought probably it will just give an error if I choose an attribute such as "medium" for the option "color". But it accepts it!

So I want to know, is this a bug or am I just on crack?

No, not a bug. You just need to select both the attribute name and the option each time you add options to a product.

Yes I understand. What Im saying is that I can select a wrong combination of attributes & options, and it will still accept that

Yes, you can if you don't pay attention to what you are doing. But personally I've input about 10,000+ products now on all my sites and have screwed up options 3 times that I can recall. It happens, but it's not really much to worry about. Just pay attention when you are selecting them.
