Hi Dear All, I have intsalled the CubeCart, and started the shop...
I have a problem to include tax into the price. It seems that it does not matter if I tick the box YES to the question Include tax in prices?
(With this enabled you must add tax into the price of the goods and it is applied to all customers) or not, it still does not include the tax into the final price...anybody can help me?

I think include tax in price means it does NOT add sales tax to your checkout, but includes it in the price of the items? I've never used that setting myself.

If you want sales tax added to your total, turn the general settings "include tax in prices" to NO and then set up your taxes in the taxes setting under store config. For example, I have mine set to include within the state of Florida at a rate of 7.5%.

Thank you Mysty, very kind of you. Maybe I was not clear, I wanted to include the tax into the individual price already, and not to have confusion at the end that there is an additional tax on the top, so when they pay, they interested about the real price...
So for me each individual prices already 20% less then what I want to appear...

And I also have a problem with encoding...The server advertises the page as being encoded as western-european however it is encoded UTF8. If I change the encoding manually to UTF8, then I see the text (like euro sign) displayed correctly, but other text like categories in French changes to unreadable characters...

And I also had this APPLY TAX for the following country only...
But I want to apply the standard tax for all country! (which is actually the hungarian tax which is 20%)
so...If I say yes for include tax to prices, and I including the tax, the software still dedact 20 percent from the prices, even if I set the tax 0000?

Any idea why?
