Hey anyone know how to remove oil-based paint from wood?

I have a old house and i am remodeling it. I wish to remove the paint from the old wood wish out harming it in any way. its old. from back in the 1920 or better.

any input on this please. i dont whis to harm the old wood at all..

if it is normal gloss paint here in england we have wood retore cant remember who it is made by but it is a paint stripper that is very weak you leave it on over night and just wipe it off in the morning time consumming but very good i live in a victorian house with the original door got 30 odd years worth of paint off and looked like new
