There comes a time when all software reaches the end of life stage of its product life cycle. From the release day of CubeCart version 5 we plan for the following timescales concerning the end of life of older versions:

CubeCart Version 3 - Released July 1, 2005

• Official support, documentation, knowledgebase articles and forum pages will be imminently discontinued.
• Downloads will no longer be available.
• Development, including security patches will cease permanently.

CubeCart Version 4 - Released Sept 11, 2007

• Official support, documentation, knowledgebase articles and forum pages will be remain available for 18 months.
• On purchase of CubeCart customers will have the option to use v4 or v5 for 12 months. Thereafter only v5 will be available.
• Development will cease but any required security patches will be available for 12 months.

Other notes

• Support for upgrading from v3 or v4 to the latest version will always be available so long as routine to do so exists.
• Redistribution without written consent of any current or discontinued version will violate the software license agreement.

What if I wish to keep using v3 or v4 past the end of life timescales?!
Your software will never expire and there is no obligation to upgrade.

Version 5 is currently undergoing some serious architectural changes prior to the next beta release. A final release date will be announced as soon as we can. We are very keen to get this release stable and available and our staff are working very hard to do so. Thank you kindly for your patience.
