Hi all

I am setting a test through the Sagepay gateway and I'm getting;

Status: INVALID

Status Detail: 3036 : The Description format is invalid.

I have spoken to support at Sagepay and they say it's because there are dashes in the order number. eg: Order number 110809-132508-2696

Has anyone come across this problem, if so is there a fix

Best regards

What exact version of CubeCart are you running and are you using an unchanged version of the built in SagePay Form payment gateway that is supplied with the software ?

We use SagePay for a lot of our clients - both the standard SagePay Form module that comes with CubeCart and also our own SagePay Direct gateway and have not heard of this issue with anyone else

Check the encryption passphrase is exactly correct. If one character is wrong (in the wrong case etc) SagePay can play up due to the very basic encryption system it used.
