jrstech Posted September 25, 2014 Share Posted September 25, 2014 Did clean install of ver 5.2.13 and tried importing CubeCart_customer table via php myadmin from old cc 4.3.3 directory but receive error #1054 - Unknown column 'firstName' in 'field list' Is this due to fields and column not matching in ver 5 table structure? The easiest solution is to let CubeCart run through the "upgrade" process at /setup/index.php, and be sure to NOT let CubeCart drop the tables and choose Upgrade. havenswift-hosting Posted September 25, 2014 Share Posted September 25, 2014 HiThere have been many changes to structure and column names within similarly named tables but also the database structure has changed such that doing it the way you are trying to do will be difficult unless you know the changes extremely well. A case in point is that data that used to be stored in the one customer table is now split across multiple tables including the address and newsletter subscriber tables.Doing an upgrade on your V4 database is definitely the way to get around these problemsThanksIan Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
