I previously used Cubecart v3 for my website and had some measure of success until it became infected by some malicious software (there was a folder named 'darkcloud' in my shop directory).

 

I've been on the lookout for an opensource platform since then so I'm very happy that Cubecart has made that transition, since it gave me everything I needed except the option to modify the source code.

 

Although I enjoy playing around with code and implementing extra functionality on my site, I'm too busy with the other aspects of my business.

 

I produce custom made items for individuals and managed to implement a way for my customers to order bespoke products on my CC3 site. It was rather cumbersome, and required more mouse clicking than I would have liked, but proved a hit with my customers.

 

I'm looking for someone who can build an extension for Cubecart similar to the following:

Thanks for posting this. I've pointed a few developers to this post hoping for one of them will get involved. I had a quick look myself and it's clear that they are massive development undertakings. Hopefully it's something that we can offer one day.

I just wanted to let you know that I reviewed your requirements, but I don't think it is something that I personally can deliver due to the effort involved and some of the required skills fall outside of my own skill set, but I do hope that somebody else can deliver this for you as it would be really funky!
