  1. So I updated to 6.0.2 and now in my dashboard I see over lapping text. See attached. I don't think I can fix this - or maybe I can. Maybe its my PC - if its my PC then so be it - but figured i'd bring it up.
  2. Hey kalyncomputers Thanks for the review - I have been thinking of doing the image over. It is a few years old. I just let it load over from CC3 - CC5 when I upgraded. Thanks for the loading info as well. I will look into it.
  3. I am just curious - I have v5.2.16 I see allot of talk about v6 Do we chose to upgrade to v6? or will it sometime in the future update my site for me? I have gone to the Advanced > Maintenance tab several times and checked on the "Upgrade" button - but each time it tells me I am up to date. I don't want my site to be at risk of falling behind the times so do I need to FORCE upgrade to v6? I already had to go from v3 all the way to v5 once before.
  4. @bsmither AWESOME info as always. This process works so far. I added 2 digit codes for contries in the International and National country locations and so far I have done several shopping cart tests and they have worked and adjusted perfectly to all the category items used in the test purchases. Items in the $0.00 categories adjust to the proper value. And like wise the shipping value adjusts to categories that have a shipping value. Thanks!
  5. CubeCart v5.2.16 RESOLVED !! So I have attempted this before several times and I still cannot figure out what I am doing wrong. I have set up " Dashboard » Modules » Shipping Methods » Per Category " several times and still every order that comes in with items from different categories ALL show shipping cost of $0.00. No matter what I edit or change the shipping is ALWAYS $0.00 I have edited all my categories. I have only a hand full of categories set to the $0.00 shipping value. The rest of the categories are all set to an actual shipping cost. Do I need to set "Allowed Zones" or something? I don't know why all my orders come in with shipping cost of $0.00. What am I doing wrong? RESOLVED!! - SEE BELOW / /
  6. CubeCart v5.2.16 I wanted to know if we can EDIT basic product info via the Import / Export Catalogue options under INVENTORY > Import Catalogue OR Export Catalogue When I export - I get a CVS file I can edit information like descriptions - price - weight - all that. If I IMPORT the edited file will the edits be made to the products online or no - is that not how this works?
  7. Completed and done! Tested the "filter" selection just now in Cubecart and I receive no "warning" window - AWESOME assistance as always @bsmither ! ! How you knew that one tiny line in all this "mumbo-jumbo" is "Crazy!" as well!
  8. Is there any other way to do this other than through a FTP editing program like Filezila? I am having connection issues with my server - keeps timing out - and can't get into it. Is there another way to edit this?
  9. It also will not filter the categories that receive this second message.
  10. **RESOLVED** For some reason when I try to apply a "filter" to my products per categories in the Inventory > Product area of Cubbcart I keep getting this pop up window that says: "" htt ps:// www. timesfogottendvd. com /admin ?_g=products"" And it has a "OK" button next to it. It basically does not let me continue until I click "OK". When I click the "OK" button I continue on and nothing else happens. I can continue work just fine. But I dont know what this "warning" means. Or how to stop it. NOTE: second image is another pop up I got just recently after trying to filter the products into another category. Still no idea what is going on.

Even missing the "start" button and starting approx. 3-5 seconds after I hit the "View All" button in the Product list - the time to load was still 21.4 seconds. This is actually pretty quick compared to other times. And sometimes it doesn't load at all. The specific category at this time has 171 individual products in it. Some of these products need to be moved categories and that is why I have been working in the category specifically. That is exactly what I was thinking. Not only that - now I only see 932 lines. So basically is it just the hosting servers fault? If I remove more products - slowly - will it eventually get faster?

I also see that there is some numbers similar to this: Example: -- (9.51290130615E-5 sec) [CACHED] Does this mean 9.5 second essentially? Or no? I wonder because those largre (or large looking to me) numbers appear alot through out the 1200 + lines. However if they are actual load times that would mean this page would take a very tong time to load I would presume. NOTE: This "freezing" or slow load time only happens when I attempt to "View All" in a specific category in Cube Cart.
  13. Hello, So recently within about the last week or two every time I attempt to view product for several specific categories through the CubeCart admin panel in V5.2.14 it takes a really long time to load the products. Sometimes it does not load at all. It is only for about 3 or 4 of the approx. 30+ specific categories I have on the site. I have tried closing everything but the one web page displaying the admin window and even restarting my computer. However my computer will run everything else just fine. I do not experience this in any other program or web page. Also all the other product categories work just fine. Why do these few categories not load properly in the admin page? Has anyone had this happen to them? NOTE: I did not change anything dramatically to the site or to the admin window. The only thing I have actually done is update a few products here and there. (Only a few have been in the categories with issues) And I deleted a user from the "Settings - Administrators" selection a few days ago. But other than that I have done nothing else.
  14. So do I need anything other then the SSL cert that I was able to purchase and activate through my host site? Do I need to impliment anything else to ensure all the security ends are covered? Or will the SSL I have in place cover that all?
  15. At least you have a SSL installed - that is a start ! The other points still hold true though. Yea I have the SSL certificate I got for the website from the links Host-Gator sent me too from C-Panel. I presumed that the Site having SSL in general means that both the CubeCart part and the site its self which customers place the order on have each been secured by the SSL. Is this not the case? If not - how do I ensure that is the case or how do I make that the case?? Do I need a different SSL certificate for the CubeCart site its self or how do I get that secured as well if it isn’t already ? ? I mean if my Web site has SSL and I can ensure that the transactions are all safe and stuff then CubeCart lets me look at them later but NOT keep those safe as well - why would cube cart offer up a payment option that is not secure??
