Have a site which has been attacked by the tell a friend feature as the client switched off Captcha. The hosts won't put the site live to allow me to get into fix the problem. Can I enable this feature via FTP of the database?

Morning All! Have a site which is using Manual Card Processing as a temp measure which is fine. However during the checkout process the customer selects their payment method and transfer to payment. At this point they get the order placed email and the order is set to pending. However the customer might decide not to enter their card details and proceed. How would I go about changing this process? In an ideal world we would want the order to be created and emails sent after they have entered their card details and pressed submit. I guess it is in the order.php > but I can't see what to move to where!! Any advice would be appreciated.

We have just gone on line today to find that our store has just done the same after a year of being fine The only way we can get our store working is by turning off the SEO application Hi Have a look at the htaccess file. Somehow ours had changed and was missing the line. RewriteBase / Check it out. I am online all day so will reply to you if you are still having problems! Cheers Peter

Morning Our site has been online for over a year. Had the search engine friendly URL's working fine. Then all of a sudden nothing works. You can get to the homepage but as soon as you click any product or link you get a page cannot be displayed error. Eventually while trying to figure out what the problem was I switched off SEO URL's in general settings and everything works again. However the problem is that we need to get teh SEO URL's back working again and fast!!! Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated! Pedro!

I have a shared ssl working in CC3 with no effect on the site docs. But whatever I do on this site I get teh problem.

Arrrhgghhh! Have a store working fine, been online for over 12 months. However have just noticed that the site documents don't work once you are viewing the cart over SSL. The store URL is http://www.towelsoft.co.uk It is a shared SSL cert, but everything else works ACE. Any ideas?

Setting up our site as a reference on our host. The site can be viewed on a URL which is like this http://web146.blahblah.co.uk/name-of-our-site.co.uk/ Have it uploaded now. Would I be correct? The whole point of doing it this way is to reduce the amount of down time while we transfer the domain over. Any advice would be most appreciated! Thank You! :)

I am working on this site www.maisieward.co.uk and I have a slideshow in the header area. It looks ace on my screen, but on others it crashes into the logo on the left. I understand it is because I am using a fluid skin. Does anybody have a quick fix or do you think I should start afresh?

I posted a thread earlier about an error message I keep getting. I have tracked it down to a fault with the FCKEditor. Is there a different version I could upload to the /rte folder to see if that resolves my problems?

I have the same problem as this in Version 3.0.16 however there is not a file /admin/includes/rte/fckconfig.php So any ideas how I can fix this problem?

Keep getting an error message whenever we try to either add an image to a product by using the images properties widget in FCKEditor. If we click Browse Server, We get the message The server didn't send back a proper XML response. See the attached screen dump. We were running 3.0.15 but have just upgraded to 3.0.16 in case it was a bug. Any Ideas? It's driving me batty!

It's been a long day! I am working on a site and we need the following for shipping charges...... normal delivery £ 7.65 express delivery on a next working day basis £ 11.70. For order value of £ 250.00 excluding VAT and over, delivery is free of charge, unless express delivery is requested, in which case the charge is £ 11.70. Any idea how I can do this? There will also be international options, but (thankfully) that will just be one price! Help Appreciated! Pedro!

Hi Have a client using V4 who has been using paypal as a payment option but now they are opening a merchant account with AIB. They have been given a list of 4 gateways - none of which I have heard of. Just wondered if anybody else has managed to intergrate any of the following www.realexpayments.ie www.datacash.co.uk www.ecommercemalta.com www.eurocommerce.i.e Any pointers would be great!

I am getting exactly the same error message throughout the admin section of my new site. It is still in development and it is running 4.34. I also get it on some pages of the store, namely the checkout. Also. In my admin I am only getting part of the Add Products Option screen.

I am working on a new site www.directwatercoolers.net All was going well however today admin is acting very strange indeed! When I login with the correct username and password everything looks fine until I click View Products. I get pushed back to an admin page where all of the links down the left are faded apart from the top two (view store and admin home) in the middle is a login area. If I click admin home I get back into the correct admin screen and I can click pretty much anything and it works other than any product related link. Help!!!

You know sometimes when you have spent 14 hours at a screen and you can no longer see correctly. I had one of those moments. Thanks Robsta!!!!!

Having a night mare with this. Installed my old CC3 site on a new server www.arnclan.net/store Can see the front page and all of the site but get a 404 page cannot be displayed on the admin side. Why is this happening I am going crazy here!!!!!!!
