Thank you for taking the time to have a look and reply. You gave me an idea. I took the word Vettel from the one product with Vettel in the Item Name and then searched Vettel and it brought back all the products exactly as it should. The problem is that the MOD's were not off the shelf mods, but were written specifically for this site and the guy who made them is no longer available to advise! Hmmmmm Sorry Brivtech. One question that you may be able to answer! When it searches the other field because it couldn't find the term in the title, why does it only respon when you remove the first letter? Any Idea?!

Hi Everyone This is a strange one that has had me scratching my head today. Working on a site www.trax-models.co.uk - CC Version 4.2.3 - PHP 5.2.9 MySQL Version: 5.0.77-community It has nearly 4,000 products on it. The search facility is very important to the client. Anyway. If you type in the search box Vettel - you get one product back. If you type ettel - without the V you get all of them back. Now let me explain further my findings. The site has several MOD's in place. One of which are a loads of additional fields for each product. Things such as car scale, driver, model type and manufacturer. Now when you type ettel (without the V) you get back all of the products which have Vettel entered in the driver field on the product. There is are additional rows in the inventory database for these. To complicate matters further, it only happens with Vettel and Senna (Again without the S) - there are many drivers with no problem. Help it's doing my head in!!!!!! Pedro

Ladies and Gentlemen Your help would be appreciated! I am moving a development site over to a new server. I have done this several times before without problem however on this occasion the mySQL won't play. If I try to restore the old database I get the error #1044 - Access denied for user 'web231-ash-trans'@'%' to database 'ashtrans'

We have a rather large site of over 3000 products. All of the images are showing on the main site, however when we look in the image manager we can only see 33 pages when in reality there should be nearer 41 pages +. I am sure there is a really, really simple explanation! Fingers Crossed Pedro!

I posted in another section, but have changed my mind somewhat on what the problem is. I have taken over a site in cube cart 4 and am trying to install it on heart internet. www.trax.arnclan.info The site is live on the front end, but I get a 404 error when I try to view the admin area. At first I thought this was a licence issue, but now I don't think it is. On the cubecart site the license is show for the correct host. I am getting really frustrated, does anybody else have any ideas or suggestions that might help me?

Unfortunately the support has run out, so speaking to Devellion isn't an option right now. When I try to get to admin now I get a 404 page cannot be displayed error. How weird is that! I have looked at the cubecart site and under the trial of version 4 I am using it states the correct host domain, so it can't be that! Any pointers would be greatly appreciated as I have tried what it said in the knowledge base!

Hi Guys I have taken over a cube cart site which is never ideal. I have moved it to a development domain. www.trax.arnclan.info. Got it all up live (although the images are missing!) but cannot get into the admin area. I get this message Software License Error #4 The client has a license which they have never used as the site has never been live only on development domains. I have got another free trial license to hopefully finsh the site. I have put he new trial license number in global.inc.php but still get the error. I have deleted the key.php and still get it. If I login to tmy CC account I can see that on my trial license that CC know where the site is as it is showing trax.arnclan.info. Any Ideas or pointers would be gratefully received! Big Pedro!
