  1. Ah ha... the simplest of solutions. Why didn't I try that? Back to work! Thank you.
  2. Good news... I installed a second store, and there is no problem at all with the numbers. I have no idea why, but I'm not going to worry about it. It's time to fill the place up. :(
  3. My site contains art nude photographs. Would you like me to pm the address to you?
  4. Does anyone have an idea why this is happening? I've looked with another computer using IE6, and the same question marks are there. I've checked my server's php to see what character set is called for, and I see this: ISO-8859-1,utf-8;q=0.7,*;q=0.7 which I believe is correct.
  5. I built my store using Firefox 3, and now I've been exploring it with IE7 for the other half of the world. The store navigates and looks pretty much the same, but all the digits are appearing as ?'s. I've tried various skins, and it's all the same. On the front page, product pages, in the shopping cart, it's all ?'s where there should be numbers. Any idea what is going on here?
  6. never mind... I was trying to edit V4 with a tool for V3. Woops.
  7. I do see something that will make this easier, and that is the Quick Assign Option. I only have to edit the first item, then I can assign all others based on it. Ok, so I solved my own problem, somewhat. This is a tedious method for "universal" price changes, but it is what the store offers. Any other ideas?
  8. I sell photographic prints. I have one option, which is Size. I want to have attributes which are the various sizes. This much is easy to do. But as I add photos, it becomes necessary to set the price manually as each attribute is assigned to each photo. This is how osCommerce works, and it's a pain. Isn't there a better method, or have I overlooked something? I want global values set to the attributes so I don't have to price each photo, and prices can be changed with a click for ALL photos (I sell over 600 images). Or should I create each size as an option? I'm confused.
  9. I'm having similar difficulty, but without ever reaching a shopping cart. I've deleted the test item, and created my own first category with one product. Using the Classic or Caretta skins, I get 404 errors for my items and my category. Using Killer, the links do nothing. Using KitaBlue, I get 404 errors. Using Legend, the links are again inactive. My site was just installed last night. There was a previous temporary installation of V3, but I did a clean install, using the same database. Maybe I should delete the database? I see nothing in my .htaccess file that relates to CubeCart.
