  1. That mod should do what you want to do so not sure why you asked the question. Or were you just making the point that you feel that standard CubeCart should do this ? Ian
  2. If you want a mod written for you then you need to ask over at cubecartforums.org. Someone may be interested in quoting you to write it
  3. Each skin is held within its own sub-directory within the skins directory. I would suggest installing cubeCart first and then taking a look around the directory structure (or getting someone to install it for you) although third-party skins are generally very easy to install. Ian
  4. You have probably got SEF url's switched on but not got a working .htaccess file. This could be for a variety of reasons all of which your host should be able to help with - my advice, switch hosts again if they cant get something simple like this sorted out Regards Ian
  5. I am not aware of anyone having written a gateay for this provider. It doesnt look as if it is very popular as very few have even asked for it before If you are set on using it then you may have to have the gateway written especially for you Ian
  6. Hi Ken I dont think standard CubeCart can do this but there is a great mod from Estelle which will do just about any variation of shipping combination that you want. Ian
  7. Thank you very much. Tried that now and still no luck It looks like it is actually working properly. In your DS/DS Lite top level category it is showing 10 products which is the total of the 5 that you have actually in that category and the 5 that you have in the console sub-category. To be honest, the first thing I do with all my clients stores is remove the product count from showing Ian
  8. if you are not getting anywhere with your host then they obvious dont value your business - I would suggest changing hosts to one that guarantees that tey support CubeCart and know what they are talking about. Best wishes Ian
  9. Upgrading standard CubeCart from one version to another is relatively straight forward but there are several things that you need to take into account. What skin are you using - several upgrades have required small changes to the skin which would have to be done manually. Have you had any mods installed - if so you would need to re-install these after doing the upgrade. Nobody will be able to answer whether you can do it or not - if you feel you dont have enough experience then you probably dont. Ian
  10. What version of php are you running on your server - you need greater than 5.2.0 and this error is normally caused by running a version less than this. Ian
  11. Hi Julius As I said before - error 550 is always a permission error of some sort. The fact that you are unable to CHMOD files proves that and probably shows that it is the permissions on a directory. Without having access to your system to see directly what is going on, it would be very difficult to tell you any more as you are not giving any detailed information to work with here. Have you tried asking your hosting company - if they cant help or are unwilling to help and you still cant get see what is causing the problem, then I would suggest changing hosting companies to one that can ! Regards Ian
  12. This is probably due to not FTP'ing the files in the correct format. Some file require binary mode and you have probably copied everything in ASCII format Ian
  13. This is nothing to do with CubeCart - error 550 is always a pernission problem of some sort. Check the permissions of files within each directory and also check to see that you are seeing any hidden files. The second error is because of the first - remove all the files and directories first Regards Ian
  14. I think that you would need to install the excellent shipping mod from Estelle - which I pretty much do for all my client's sites. You will also need to install another mod (I think Estelle also does this one) to hold qty by stock option
  15. What is your site url and title ? If that is showing in google, it is what was presented to the google crawler the last time it indexed your site and will stay until the next time it visits (assuming that you have fixed the problem with your site, of course!!) regards Ian
  16. There are so many hosting companies out there that cannot support even a relatively simple product like CubeCart - this especially applies to the cheaper hosting companies out there - you get what you pay for ! If your store is in any way important to you, go to a hosting company that has a good track record of supporting CubeCart and has responsive support. The difference in cost per year maybe as little as £30 to £50 per year but you will get good support and none of these problems. Your time alone, even before looking at lost orders and those customers that will never come back to your store because they saw it was down, will pay for the extra very quickly Regards Ian
  17. Didnt know about that one As long as it does what you need then that would be the best way to go ! Ian
  18. CubeCart doesnt have this functioanlity as standard and why would you want your customers to upload into it anyway. If you dont want to just ask them to email the image to you, then the best thing would be to have a mod written for you that would add a link to a file upload utility that could be called once the client has completed payment or alternatively could be given as a link within the confirmation email regards Ian
  19. If you purchased that licence through that control panel login then it will be listed under the My Licences / Copyright Keys. If it isnt on the front page under Active Licences then it was probably a demo licence that has now expired. If it isnt under either section, then you registered it through a different login regards Ian
  20. Steve Commercial contributors are not allowed to advertise on these forums, only over at cubecartforums.org Regards Ian
  21. As already mentioned above, this does depend on exactly what you are trying to import as to how complicated it will be. I havent done anything with exported data from Creloaded but have loaded products exported from other E-Commerce systems successfully for clients. The amount of time (and therefore the cost if you pay somebody to do it for you rather than do it yourself) does depend on the points that Jason has mentioned but would be pretty straight forward loading directly into the mySQL database Regards Ian
