  1. Hi, Just noticed that in admin, under the Statistics >Search Terms, visitors' search phrases are not shown. Instead, phrases are dismantled into individual words so pretty useless in this form. For example "white tee shirt" is shown as "white", "tee" and "shirt". So how can I change it to ensure the search terms are showing the actual search phrases please ? Thanks S.
  2. Thanks Keat, I did exactly that, I updated asap our terms and conditions plus added a disclaimer in small text font on the basket page with a hyperlink to the terms and conditions clause. The developer of the plugin has been extremely efficient and has already emailed us an upgrade that should fix it.
  3. same issue here. I just left an email message to the developer to resolve the issue, soon hopefully. One customer worked it out this week-end and I had to cancel the order as the discount was far too big as a result.
  4. Hi Bsmither, I understand where in the back end the newsletter & content is stored. What I was after is where is it on the front end for the subscribers going to the website. I did a test as a customer with Yes ticked for " Subscribed to newsletter? ", logged in, went into the newsletter subscriptions sections and there is no newsletter stored there. Nevermind. I did my own directory now. Regarding CKEditor, it does not like anything in the <head> section especially any styling. So instead I went for inline styling with nested tables and the result is pretty good, albeit not responsive. However if you reduce the table width to 60%, it is pretty acceptable. S.
  5. I have been engaging with Al on the subject and clearly the CKEditor is unstable. Al advised me to type my coding rather than copying and paste but believe me I have been working on this for hours now and it makes no difference. One minute the changes are saved fine, you then type a lot more and make amendments and the editor has decided to mix your coding again every time you save. It is unstable and unpredictable. I am now running out of steam and will have to send a very basic email newsletter, not happy. As far as the URL question is concerned, I sorted it out myself and implemented what I used to do with CC4. Created in cpanel a new folder called newsletter and copy and paste the entire newsletter coding into a blank html file, saved it and done. Now I have a webpage of the newsletter for customers who experience difficulties of reading the email or viewing pictures. No one has yet managed to comment on why the unsubscribe page states the following which I would believe where the URL of each newsletter should be: "Newsletters There are no archived newsletters right now." Nevermind, enough for today.
  6. Hi keat, Mailchimp is too expensive, I have well exceeded the 2000 .... Normally your newsletter is available on your website as well so that customers who cannot read it properly via their email system, click on the hyperlink which takes them to your newsletter web page address. This is why I asked where is the newsletter on the website as clearly there would not be a heading "newsletter archive" for nothing on page https://www.yourdomain/index.php?_a=unsubscribe. Also, looking at the html coding of the Default Newsletter under email templates, something is wrong. The content is outside the <body> and <html> and all the normal data in the <head> is in the <body> tag ??? . Every time I am correcting it to put it right, I save and the system keeps on changing the coding back to the original one. At the moment, it is given as : <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html> <head> </head> <body bgcolor="#f7f7f7"><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" /> <style type="text/css">html, body, table { font-family: Arial; font-size: 14px; } </style> </body> </html> <title>Default HTML Newsletter Template</title> <base href="{$DATA.storeURL}" /> <table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="100%"> <tbody> <tr> ........ But it should be in my view as follows: <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html> <head> <title>Default HTML Newsletter Template</title> <base href="{$DATA.storeURL}" /> <style type="text/css">html, body, table { font-family: Arial; font-size: 14px;} </style> </head> <body bgcolor="#f7f7f7"><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" /> (BODY CONTENT) <table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="100%"> <tbody> <tr> ...... (END OF BODY CONTENT) </body> </html> I think I will ask Al to take a look at this. S.
  7. Thanks Keat. I gather that but my question is where in the website, ie the URL link for each newsletter created ?
  8. Hi Creating a newsletter via admin at the moment. What I would like to understand is where is the content of that newsletter, once created (not referring to email template), is stored ? ie what's the URL for it ? I noticed that when you click on unsubscribe, the page that opens contains the heading: "Newsletters There are no archived newsletters right now." So I am guessing that is where they will show ? Also, I would like to add a message on my newsletter like "Email or pictures not displaying correctly? Please click here to view it as a web page.", also the reason why I am asking. Many thanks S.
  9. Just noticed that this bug has now been sorted. Coding is available if you cannot wait for the next upgrade like me. Just implemented it, tested and working all fine. Thanks Al :-)
  10. Update as you requested: - Ajax format stats with Users Online - reply from Cubecart: "CubeCart will store the last URL the user online clicked. If they change a product option it will make an ajax request and return the data. The code you see like "["\u00a3110.00"]" is just the price encoded that CubeCart then needs to update the master price. Honestly its nothing to be concerned with. Maybe you could argue that CubeCart shouldn't change the sessions current URL for ajax requests." - index.php?_a=404 stats - reply from Cubecart: "CubeCart doesn't store the referring URL so its impossible to know what link they came from to get the 404. Over time Google Analytics may be able to help." I have worked on that since, I also noticed that all images were now in a different folder so did a redirect for that and via Google webmaster, noticed that I had a few URLs going to 404 so addressed it. Nevertheless, I still get several 404's a day. I will keep an eye on it and address it as it comes I guess. - system error logs: That was an easy one. The debugger under Advanced store settings was still on. Turned it to disable, deleted the logs and all gone. Nothing back since. All sorted.
  11. My error, very sorry, just realised I was looking at a different property under search console, ie the domain without www. So please mark all resolved, the sitemap.xml.gz is working all fine, indexing has already started. Thanks S.
  12. Hi, I am having issue with the sitemap Cubecart provides. 1. At first I opened sitemap.xml.gz and extracted the sitemap.xml and submitted it to Google webmaster. All fine until I checked a day later and error message, no sitemap found. So went back in cpanel and indeed my sitemap.xml in my root domain has gone .... I then suspected that every time I refreshed the sitemap in admin via maintenance, maybe the system deleted the xml file I uploaded myself. Is that possible ? 2. Searched the forum and read that I could just submit the sitemap.xml.gz instead, which I did yesterday. Google webmaster accepted and gave me my number of pages to index. So all looking good except this morning, I checked again and more error messages: Parsing error: We were unable to read your Sitemap. It may contain an entry we are unable to recognize. Please validate your Sitemap before resubmitting. Line 1 1281 Error: We encountered an error while trying to access your Sitemap. Please ensure your Sitemap follows our guidelines and can be accessed at the location you provided and then resubmit. General HTTP error: 404 not found, HTTP Error: 404 Can anyone share some light on the issue please. S.
  13. Sorry, does not work with me. Only when I use <p> at the end of order-print.php like below, do I get a page break with the order id displacement issue: <p style="page-break-after:always;">&nbsp;</p> </div> {/foreach} {/if} </div> </body> </html> I had to customise the order-print a fair bit so I think I will get a copy of the original one and see if your recommendation makes any difference. BTW I do not print labels, I print the whole invoice if you follow me. Turning into a real headache now but thanks for your help. I will get to the bottom of it !!!
  14. There is already a <div class="page-break"> in the original print.css and it is not working (that's was what I was referring to in previous post). I have also tried to make a new div with a different name and add at the end of the page instead, did not work either .... only the <p> seems to create that break but then the order ids are all gathering, really I cannot understand how this can happen.
  15. Hi, Well, looking deeper into print.css of the orders.print.php and there is already a class for page-break but it is clearly not working. I have checked every single <div></div> to make sure all was correct and really it does make sense. However, I managed to get a page break by inserting <p style="page-break-after:always;">&nbsp;</p> towards the end of my coding. I now get page breaks between each invoice but there is now a very strange behaviour happening. When I checked my print view, all order id references of all invoices are now superposed on top of each other at the top of the document right of the main document at the exception of the oldest dated invoice. Also, all affected invoices have now lost their order ID in their invoice. I hope you understand what I mean with the images below. The first image is the oldest dated invoice of the group of invoices printed, followed by an example of the other invoices where the order ID is now missing as travelled onto the first invoice ????
  16. Excellent suggestion ! Implemented and works well. A lazy customer may use it but not a big deal as UK counties are not as critical as correct postcodes. Thanks again :-) S.
  17. Hi I noticed that macro {$DATA.link} does not work with some email templates, for instance, the Cart: Fraud Review one. Could someone help why ? I am basically creating a new email template for a specific order status in which I want to include the data link macro but it is not working. When I tested it, I got a blank space instead. So I tried to add it to the fraud review template and noticed that it does not work either. So I need to understand the logic behind it. Thanks S.
  18. Hi, When I create a manual order, 99% are for a UK address. The system forces me to select a county which is not a compulsory data for delivery with Royal Mail for instance. When I use Royal Mail postcode search, you get addresses with no county. So now, I end up having to search Google with my postcode to find the county so that Cubecart allows me to save my manual order. Is there a way I could stop the admin to force a county selection for manual orders but leave it live with online orders ? Thanks S.
  19. Hi When we tick all our processed orders and then choose to change the status in bulk to "order complete and dispatched", it works well from the point of view that the status has been changed correctly but the problem is that the order dispatch date remains blank. Conclusion, we still have to update manually one by one each order to select the dispatch date under the delivery tab of the order. We really need to fix that to speed up our admin work. Thanks S.
  20. Hi, On the orders overview section, if you tick all your processed orders and then choose "don't change order status" followed by "print an invoice", we thought, we could gain a lot of time so that we could print all our invoices at once. However, there is an issue. The system does not include a page break between each invoice and therefore all our invoices came out all as one solid document. I searched the forum for a solution but could not find any. Surely this must have been reported before ? Thanks S.
  21. Thanks guys. The stats I refer to above are the ones from the REPORTING section, statistics, Users Online. I have now also gone into the error logs under ADVANCE and there is a staggering > 4000 system error logs .... surely this is not normal ? I moved from a 4.4.2 to 6.1.7. Yes bmisther, you are right it is the price of the product. I will ask Al tomorrow morning I think. S.
  22. Thanks Al so does it mean it is best to comment rather than making my changes ? In need of an expert's opinion :-)
  23. With commenting I had issues too so what I did the following instead and it seems to work well. 1. I removed: <dl class="sub-nav right" id="layout_toggle"> <dd><a href="#" class="grid_view"><svg class="icon"><use xlink:href="#icon-th-large"></use></svg></a></dd> <dd class="active"><a href="#" class="list_view"><svg class="icon"><use xlink:href="#icon-th-list"></use></svg></a></dd> </dl> 2. I changed <div class="row product_list_view"> to <div class="row product_list_view hide"> and <div class="product_grid_view hide"> to <div class="product_grid_view"> 3. But then you get one image per row on desktop so I changed <ul class="small-block-grid-1 product_list" data-equalizer> to <ul class="small-block-grid-1 medium-block-grid-3 large-block-grid-3 product_list" data-equalizer> to keep 3 images per row. and after testing on desktop and mobile, looking all good so far. S.
  24. Hi Gone live with V6 today and in my stats I noticed a lot of product URL with ajax price format like: https://www.xxxx.com/xxx/old V4 URL.html?_g=ajax_price_format&price[0]=190ยป When I click on the little arrow at the end of the URL, it opens a blank page on my site with the following text ["\u00a399.00"] . That text varies from time to time, ie ["\u00a358.00"] Does anyone know why that is and is it normal behaviour ? I also get so many index.php?_a=404, it is quite surprising and do wander why all these 404 error pages ????? I am trying to assess whether some customers are struggling to access the website or something .... Thanks for your help. S.
  25. Thanks Dirty Butter. I do use the different functions of different admins and that works well when I am away. However, most of the time, I am in and I just free my desktop to someone who does all the orders preparation and dispatches. It would be a no sense to log out and in again especially as I also take orders over the phone and need access quickly to my screen so was thinking of (1) hiding the info but still accessible elsewhere or (2) render that section all white or (3) delete the appropriate coding (very last solution).
