  1. This will need editing /includes/contents/cart.inc.php to assign the SEO url (if enabled) to a template variable, and then editing then skin file (cart.tpl) to use it. There may be an existing mod to do this- ask over at cubecartforums.org Jason Hi, here is the link to the free mod: http://www.cubecartforums.org/index.php?sh...art=#entry55342 Worked fine with me.
  2. Hello, I am using 4.3.9. I am currently adding product options such as size, colour, etc. However, I cannot find any way where I can add the appropriate stock level per product option. Am I missing something here ? Sandrine
  3. In cubecart 4 it is very easy to take control of your SEO. Two ways through admin, catalog, add Category or add Product: - under your category page, choose a rich keyword category title and make sure your fill the very important box titled "Specific Category Meta Data" where you choose your specific URL address path for this page, your browser title, description and keywords. - same comment for the product page Create a few category pages and products as tests and soon you will get the hang of it. Use also Google keywords tool to help you identify keywords people are seaching for in your line of business. Good luck.
  4. Issue RESOLVED. Delighted to report that I cracked it Not a div issue but a little padding-right niched into the original Cubecart coding specifically for styling the Shopping cart template.
  5. issue RESOLVED. I have noticed that with IE you really have to define every single parameter within a class or id compared with Firefox so in this case my breadcrumb and footer are in the same main id which is set with a white background so I simply added a color atttribute for the font and voila ! Thanks Robsta for your guidance. Resolved :ninja2:
  6. Thanks Robsta, you must be right as I have just added a footer and funny enough it is "invisible" in IE but there in firefox so here I go searching for white font. Will report back.
  7. Thanks Robsta for your reply. I thought I had been careful with my closing div but obviously not. I shall search in that direction and report back. Thanks again.
  8. Hi Robsta, Thanks again for looking at my case. I currently keep my store offline as google already indexed my domain within a week of purchasing the domain but I am not planning to go live for another month. Can I please email you my url ? Sandrine OK decided to turn the store on for a short while so here is the url www.thenauticalcompany.com/store/ (still under construction so REALLY embarrased about showing it off at such an early stage .... only an amateur, web design was not my trade ...) Thanks in advance to anyone taking the time to help. Sandrine

  11. Hi guys, I am using 4.3.9 and I am an average amateur of CSS and HTML. I have done a classic fixed width layout design as such header, top menu, main content with boxes on the left column. Now in my basic header, I have my logo floating on the left and my shopping cart floating on the right. Looking all fine in Firebox 3.6.6 but issues with IE8. Basically the header in IE8 is shifting to the right by about 5px with respect the top menu and main content page. My css coding is classic and I really cannot not see where the problem is. I removed the css coding of the Shopping Cart and it still shifted but if I remove the shopping cart altogether from the header, it re-aligns itself perfectly with the rest. So something in the Shopping Cart regardless of the design triggers that small shift. I have been looking at this problem for quite a while and I really cannot resolve it. One radical option could be to move the shopping cart to a box in the main page but I really want to keep the shopping cart in the right hand side of the header as clothes stores tend to be designed this way. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Sandrine :ninja2:
  12. Hi, I normally work with Firefox 3.6.6 but was just testing my site with IE8 and noticed the breadcrumb separator does not show up regardless of the directory symbol I use, ie / or >. Has anyone else got the same issue ? I am using 4.3.9
  13. Issue RESOLVED. At the end, I uploaded again the original viewprod.tpl to erase my custom-made one and it is all functioning fine now. I suspect I moved some coding around without enough care. Feeling a bit silly for posting this note now .....
  14. Hello, I am using 4.3.9 and have a serious issue with the Shopping Cart. When I use the "Add to Basket" button under the Product Page (viewprod.tpl), it does not add. However if I use the "Buy" button under the subcat page where all my products are listed, it works fine. I spent a lot of time searching the forum for possible causes but failed to find the right one. If anybody is familiar with this problem, I would greatly appreciate your help. Many thanks in advance
