OK. I have removed the images from the folders, uploaded them through the admin page rather than FTP software and updated the file list the same way - they now upload. Doesn't explain the rest of it but it's progress!

This happens with both Firefox and IE. I go to the site - it tells me to upgrade so I click on the link. It tells you to create a backup, so i go to maintenance and click backup - it comes up with a message saying "Unable to Serve this Request. Site temporarily unavailable. Connection timed out - please try again". When I log in again and go back to the maintenance page it shows the backup was succesful. I then click on the upgrade link again, click upgrade and get "Unable to Serve this Request. Site temporarily unavailable. Connection timed out - please try again". This happends every time. I also get logged out all of them time - I don't seem to be able to stop it logging me out (Cubecart support tell me they've extended it but I've seen no difference and I couldn't find out from them how to do it myself). Thanks - didn't think of versions etc. The images are in folders - I will try removing it from there. They are standard JPEG images. I'm running v5.1.2 (because I can't get it to upgrade to 5.2.2). It was a very unreliable upgrade from v3.... Kraken - when I click the image icon and browse it still comes up blank.

Can someone please give me a simple step by step guide to uploading images - I rarely seem to get it right! Initially I always opened up our FTP Software and loaded the already compressed image into images/sources. It used to then appear in the admin side of the website for use. Since "upgrading" I've been struggling. I've tried uploading them through FTP, uploading them through the admin images page and doing both but it rarely seems to work. What's the duffers guide to uploading an image? Regards, Joe

Not sure whether I have the same problem here or not. I need to link some text (i.e. click here) to a PDF document. In CC4 I just used to click the hyperlink icon and then upload but that seems to have gone. So how do you do it in CC5?

Having read various threads I made these changes and it does seem to have cleared a few problems up. All, A lot of what's been written here means next to nothing to me unfortunately. We have a live store which we upgraded to CC5(1.2?) - I've just sent an order out the door which must be there tomorrow (ordered last week and held back at the customers request) and I'm not even sure I've sent the right products now! Is the long and short of this that there isn't a fix at the moment? Do I need to take a screen dump until something's sorted? Joe

Thanks for your fix on the drop down menu filter. Works a treat as far as I can see. I don't know whether I'm going daft here, but I can see how to change the order the products within a category appear using the product code etc, but is it possible to sort them how I want them? We have a number of products which need to be listed in size order and I can't figure out how to do it.

I know this has been discussed in a seperate thread, which was moved from a "hi-jacked" thread - it just doesn;t say where it was moved to and I can't find it. I'm wanting to ship an order but I can't see what the customer has ordered. There's nothing in the product names etc, just the total. How can I find out what he's ordered?

More problems seem to keep cropping up (such as when I click products and try and filter it by clicking on a category in the drop down menu, it does nothing, so I can't filter by category!!). Here's another one for you! Can you remove the "check you're a human" electronic verificiation thing upon checkout? Customers are complaining they can't read them to be able to type them in, and I've got to say I agree!

Hi all, How do I get CC5 to send me emails when orders are placed and completed (as it did with CC3) and how do I stop it logging me out of the admin page all the time? Joe
