  1. Sorry Further to this, under secure checkout I have the image :

     

    public_html/modules/plugins/PayPal_Pro/images/PayPal_mark_36.23.png

    I have tried to change the image, renamed it, deleted it and secure checkout still show this original image, I have also refreshed the browser, tried a different browser, even mobile app and I can not change the image, going nuts !!!!!
    Also cache off cache on

    I want to change the Paypal Express checkout icon from the standard icon to the image I have attached, as we now process credit cards Via Paypal but its confusing to customers who only think its a Paypal account checkout
    By changing the image I hope to make it more clear for customers and will go through this link to checkout with card ?

  3. Hi All
    My first time doing some skin mods.

    I have accessed the C panel file skins/kurouto/styles/grey/layout.css and save the changes to the files or colors, save the changes in the editor but makes no difference to the live site

    I'm on the latest version of cubecart 

    I reload the page, I reload the cpanel as well

    What am I doing wrong or missing ?

  4. Move hosting companies ! Seriously, for them to have caused this number of issues without telling you in the first place of a server move and then claiming it should cause no problems - you get what you pay for !

    I'm not with a cheap hosting provider, far from it so it has nothing to do about your assumption of getting what you pay for.

    My issue is that I f I do a complete backup and move to a new hosting agent, the costs involved, the time involved, re purchasing applying SSL certificates, and do I move my problem across as well ?

    If running core CubeCart or even if same code that has been running fine for many weeks, then it has almost certainly got to be a hosting issue. Sorry to have to keep saying it, but more and more hosting companies are screwing their server settings as tight as they can in order to fit thousands of sites onto one server - you cannot charge a few dollars / pounds per month fir hosting without something suffering.

    I agree, just got confirmation from the hosting supplier, they changed my server , seamless they say no issues. HA !

    But where to now, how do I fix this issue myself or what do i ask of them to fix 

  6. Hi Andy, if it was always fine and your store hasn't changed its either a hosting issue or even local issue blocking the session cookies. Have you tried other browsers and or computers in different locations?

    Yes, here at home and all have had caches cleared, history cleared.

    Customers are getting offline pages, looks to be hosting as some problems are all converging, just spoke to the hosting agent, they had issues with the server and have moved me to another, claim to be a seamless change ???.

  7. Check the hosting provider hasn't added code to the .htaccess file forcing crazy over cache. We have seen this a lot recently. It could be that the server is telling your browser to load old outdated content.

    How do I do this, what do I look for ?

    Can I do this through a cpanel ?

     

    In reading your reply, it looks that this is happening, I had customers calling yesterday to say the store is offline, when it was net ?

    They were getting a message from 3 days prior

    Is your current version as shown in your signature ? Have you made any changes to core files ? The number and type of issues you seem to be having are indicative of poorly made changes to core files or possibly hosting issues (although not sure what hosting problem could be causing this issue)

    No Changes what soever in the past 3 months, version sorry is 5.2.13

     

    Also today, we update an order, enter delivery details, change to complete and save, save and update, order says order complete, we then go to unsettled orders, and the same order is back again, as processing ?????

  9. I am having so many issues at the moment

    We put in a manual order, system accepted it after 3 attempts.
    Now when we go to view the order, it does not show, search by either Order name or number.

    Wait 10 minutes went in again, and low and behold its there, update the order, system defaults to dashboard, and order is gone again, unable to be found.

    Any help would be appreciated, should I open a Support Ticket ?

  10. We do have multiple user signons, never sharedand this morning I have a single session running today, no one else, no other computers
    I have in the past run numerous tabs open within the browser and not had issues before.

    This morning, I can even check orders without cubecart defaulting to the dashboard or getting the 404 error.

    I'm unsure if its the hosting provider or Cubecart.

     

    Becoming desperate.

  11. When we update an order, or process, or manual enter we are consistently being redirected to the dash board.
    Its becoming very frustrating, our web hoster has moved us to a faster server, this does not seem to have helped.

     

    We have cleared cache, browsing history, reset logs, and rebooted to no avail, its always happened in frequently but seems to be getting much worse.

     

    If it does not do this we get the internal error timeouts

     

    Any Ideas, costing us time and money now ?

    I'm having the same issues using the backup tool timing out, so going manual.
    My hosting provider is experiencing difficulties and I want to make a file backup, also for the future move to the next level, currently on :

    Script Version 5.2.13 PHP Version 5.3.29 MySQL Version 50542 Image folder size 470.90 MB Download folder size

    I have backed up the entire site through the CPanel already and also downloaded to another system
    But as a separate backup to restore the Cube Cart site, which are the important files to back up ?

  13. As a very simple solution, I have the responsibility on the purchaser, like stated anyone can come up with a fake ID.

    I put in a mandatory option on the product and ask the question of the buyer, are you over the age of 18 YES / NO, obviously if not selected, we don't process the order.
    that they then are making the declaration.
