I have the SEO re-write urls turned off. When I turn it on, all the urls are custom and everything works fine initially. It is after some time passes, the urls change to these long strange links. I think it is cache related, because it works fine after clearing cache or disabling the cache.

the site is http://www.eyewearchain.com and the version is 5.06 I turned caching off, but will turn back on to see if I can duplicate the issue. It is currently doing the long links.

Does anyone else have this problem? I thought it was the apache mod rewrite, but it happens with or without the rewrite. The category links change to these extremely long links, and the linked page shows without any formatting. I go clear cache and save the general settings page without changing anything, and it goes back to normal. Please help, the site has to be constantly checked to make sure the category links work. Losing sales because of this, no doubt. I deleted that section of the database and was able to restore. The real issue was what a mess the site became after the upgrade from 5.04 to 5.05 - the layout was scattered all over the page. Should I have deleted the cache first, what did I do wrong?

I did a database backup through CC, before updating to 5.05. The update failed, and I tried to restore the backup through php my admin, and it would stop at CubeCart_openid table with an error. Is there a way to restore the CC backup in the CC maintenance area?

Still cannot get the orders to e-mail when an order is placed. had to figure out so many things on my own, had to go through every product and save in order for bread crumbs to work. Logo showing up issues, printing orders issuses, no clear defined instructions or solutions on the forum. dud

I had the same problem- figured it out- go to the administrators section, click on admin user, and enable the "Receive order notifications?" red x to make it a check mark. Same problem. The only time I get emails is if the customer pays with Paypal or if I change the pending to completed. Jamie I cannot offer any suggestions, but I have the same problem with my demo install. It is disappointing there's has been no solutions suggested, despite this being experienced by a number of users.
