  2. The service provider had did some security updates to the server which which i got the ini_set() set warnings - i think he said a lot was deprecated??

100% not understanding the implications to this to cube cart

1 thing i found is that after he added a # (eg below) to the start of the line where the code is so not to show the warnings where i was told every thing would be ok (false) it has caused more issues

I did try a clean install to v 5.15? and get same ini set error on the clean install (does not even allow me to finish install)

    So problem i have

1: Old shop does work BUT i get a Access denied when an admin tries to login (one error i can see that now has it broken)

2: If i try to upgrade 5.08 to 5.15 it breaks http://www.aviationmuseum.com.au/shopping/setup/index.php errors just show up

3: can not install on server with its new security settings

Looking for some direction or advice is there a fix for CC as it looks like it relies ini code for a lot of stuff

    Grant

    eg: #ini_set('display_errors', true);

Old post with error list last week

  3. We started getting this couple days ago

did try an update with no eval so went back to the back ups

any clue what may of caused it

Server side there where no changes

Version 5.08 (use to run like a dream)

  4. Couple questions on upgrade

    no2 in the doc says

Q2 Upload the entire contents of this folder over your existing files replacing all existing ones.

So we may as well delete the folder and just upload the new one ?

reason i ask my ftp program (transmit) deletes every thing then up loads - or should this be a merge with over right existing files ?

which then leaves the customer store images / modded theme, ect?

Q4 says = If all files have uploaded successfully the setup page should load. Please select "Upgrade CubeCart" and follow the on screen instructions.

There was "upgrade" top right corner? but it did not do any thing when clicked , also only other choice was install at the bottom

which then is same as doing clean install - as i needed getting to the set up page where ALL details needed ? if im doing an upgrade

it should see the config file with DB and Key details is this correct ? (but that got deleted in the ftp upload)

or did i just miss some thing

    Thanks
