Unfortunately there are no sub-categories. As an example: Categories are Brandy, Specials and Best Selling. If I try to edit Brandy , the Parent category shows Specials and Best Selling, no Brandy. If I try to edit Specials I can see parent cat. of Brandy and Best selling, no specials. Hope that makes sense. Further to this we had an issue with the sql database. If it is relevant I deleted the db, re created a blank one then imported all the tables from the archives we created.. regards Duncan

Further to the upgrade from 5.1.5 to 5.2.5. We have uploaded the upgraded CC5 to a new server and changed the DNS to get www.harrisorganicwine/shop to look how it should. Then to test it out. I found that when I click on most categories,but not all, no products found. Categories that work are sale items and gift vouchers. I can get to shop/admin and have cleared the cache and cache in sql database. When I go to categories I can see a list when I try to edit a category all the categories are listed, except the specific one to be edited. Any suggestions?

After some time I have found out a little more about SSL. SSL stands for Secure Socket Layer. There are two main types. Some configurations require a specific type of SSL Cert. Do you need to cover multiple domains with a UCC (Unified Communications Certificate), or unlimited subdomains with a Wildcard SSL? Use these questions as a guideline to help find the SSL you need to cover multiple secure sites: Where are you located? Is this for a business or personal website? Which type of server of Web hosting do you use? How many unique domains do you want to secure with HTTPS? Do you need an SSL Certificate that supports Intel vPro technology for remote PC management? I have a single certificate that covers a single URL (harrisorganicwine.com.au) and therefore the mobile site as a subdomain was not covered by the SSL. I now have a choice, either a wildcard SSL (with multiply subdomains) or a buy another single domain SSL. regards Duncan

Thanks bsmithers for your quick reply. to elaborate: The error is shown as a "Security Warning" There are problems with the security certificate for this site. The name of the site does not match the name of the certificate. I opened firefox and ran a search for an add-on " user agent string". Is this what I require? More later Duncan

Further to this I have SSL running. On a PC all is well, however if I use a mobile device, and mobile version I can select products, but the SSL certificate is not recognised even though the url is the same as the PC when I go to the shopping cart. Any more info required or advise would be helpful. regards Duncan

Further to this it would be nice to have an option to have the customer email bcced to the vendor. This provides a level of feedback that the email component is working. If the customer looses their confirmation the vendor can resend it from their email.

Yep, Dirty Butter, I agree, looking at the user Online stats to see that the bots have been surveying your site with all listed with time of 0.0 seconds. Suggest a time gate be inserted so that the zero seconds are removed/ not displayed. Duncan

Further to my post, I have just up graded to 5.2.5 and checking out if there is any difference on this topic. I can create a PENDING order for a customer. I then get the customer to log in and view their Order History in their account. They can see the order, but there does NOT seem any way for them to pay for it? They can print a receipt although they have not paid for it. Am I missing something? regards Duncan

I agree, this function is valuable to get customers (who have little IT experience sorted ) online quickly. This happened to me today. I manually created the order and then when the customer logged on, there was nothing in the order history. I had to manually go into the customers account, create the order and then get them to pay. Not an easy process, some time and energy on this option would be MOST valuable. regards Duncan

Ok, What was the next move? I refreshed the cache a couple of times and BINGO the upgrade worked. I was able to insert all the data about user name and local host, licence number etc. leaving me at the end, with whether I wanted to go to admin or shop front. I opted for shop front. I was offered a blank screen, , however at the top of the screen I could see my flavicon as though some thing was right. Some hours later, I refreshed the cache and tried again but no luck. Also the admin screen has the same result, all blank. Any suggestions please?

Thanks for the quick reply Staff. Next question, I put the images/ logo/index.php file in the source folder. pressed start again and althought the error went away the screen is now blank. I then received your answer, so I removed all content of the php file. I then tried to start setup again but still a blank screen What next?

In CC Version 3 there was a code mod to give a minimum value of spend. We then altered the code from $grandtotal to $quantity to have a minimum quantity, but this gave a min quantity of each line of product, not a minimum total quantity. As I sell wine online I would like to have a minimum of 3 bottles purchased and ideally in lots of the following: 3,6,12,24,36... bottles Is there a version 5 of this code? I am running 5.1.5.
