  1. Good day Al

Ian purchased the Square plugin for me and I think I have installed properly. Though, I tried to make a payment and didn’t work. Browsing their website is a frigging disaster they send you back and fort with no solution and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. On the other end when I activated it (now I unticked it) it was showing among the payment buttons as Square and only if you choose it as gateway shows you can pay with Google Pay (I have no iOS so I don’t know if it shows Apple Pay as well) but the reason to purchase this plugin was to have it showing you can purchase directly with either Google or Apple, is it possible to change the way it appears on the checkout page?

Thanks in advance for your help, I’m kind of stuck here

    Regards

  2. Good afternoon everyone,

I have a fishing tackle shop and many of the items I sell come in two or three different sizes (ej: lures) and maybe five or six colors. Now, I might have the color XYX available for the 11cm size but not for the 15cm size lure, how can I let the costumer know that that option is not available? Is there any way to fix this on the options window in the product page?

Thanks in advance for your kind feedback

    Regards

  3. OK, I was doing something quite wrong, like putting the wrong url. With http works fine now, is there any way to do something similar with the categories so I can have it in the left column?

thanks a lot for your help, ciao

  4. Hi DB thanks for the reply. I activated the Blog in the SEO but there's no link showing up in the store page. I then created a category and put the Blog link there but is a tad hidden and there's a bit too much of clicking for my taste, what I was looking for was a direct link to the blog that could show somewhere on the page. Any chance to do that?

    Regards, ciao

  5. Good afternoon,

I tried to sear in the forum but couldn't find anything, hope this is a new request. At the moment I have my main page www.caranx.net opening on my blog and the store is at www.caranx.net/store. For SEO porpouses and to drive the traffic in a better way I'd like the page to open with the store and have the blog linked to the page in a visible way, I mean not hidden somewhere.

I was looking inside the panel but I don't sem to be able to find a way to do so, can anybody help?

    Thanks in advance, regads

  6. Ok, let's resume for the idiot - which is me  obviously - there's not much that I can do with my limited skills and knowledge, I will wait to see if something happens with the Cart updates.

Funny, I tried to attach the url of a shop that shows the ñ in the url and once pasted here would turn the ñ into some %& and stuff like this... :-)

    Thanks again, ciao

PD: what shall I do with the cache, delete them all to restore?

  7. Looks like I have found an issue on the URLs, for example the word "señuelos" carries the spanish "ñ" and in the url it is replaced by a - sign so it reads se-uelos. I have compared with other spanish webs and the word is writen correctly on the URL. Any idea?

    thanks, ciao

  8. Thanks a lot for the hints, I already created the .htaccess and I'm going to switch to the SEO Urs. When you say rebuild the caches you mean that I have to mark all four delete cache options, correct? Ciao, Nicola

It's easy enough to do, and the htaccess is designed to take care of redirects from the old urls to the new. Be sure to rebuild the caches and create a new sitemap and export your catalog to Google or wherever you send yours.

Copy some of the current urls so you can see if they redirect correctly to the seo urls. If not, report back with what the original and the new turned out to be.

PS Thank you for providing your setup info in your sig!!

  9. I would like to change the way my urls are shown, I'd rather have the name of the product on the url than the codes now showing. I have been through the Admin page and found out that I have first to install .htaccess and then change from no to yes in the Activate URLs for SEO optimization drop down menu.

Now my question is, the shop is on line since quite a long time, can I do it now and is it difficult to do? Will I face any problem at all?

Thanks a lot for your kind feeback

    regards

    Nicola :-)
