  1. Hey Folks,

This post is slightly irrelevant but let me post it anyway.

With CubeCart 5 or 6 which point of sale or inventory tracking software do you use in your shop?

If you aren't using anything how many of you would be interested to use a point of sale system that is integrated with your cubecart store.

    Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

  2. Cubecart doesn't have any useful information on stock availabilty with attributes to the customer and will only show QTY of 0-x (x max stock) this does not  help anyone know what's in or out of stock. It not until the customer continually tries adding products to the basket when they will receive a notice of out of stock options then needs to go back and try another variant which is a slow frustration process.

I would like a feature added that will show a grid on the product page with either 1. the actual number of items in stock for each option or I would prefer option 2. Will show red icon for out of stock or green icon for items in stock.

I found this code which maybe adaptable,  but have no clue how to go about doing such edits http://stackoverflow.com/questions/19702719/show-available-stock-quantity-on-product-page

    Hi Ian,

We have already developed order grid CubeCart 5 plugin.  You can see the demo here: http://awesomescreenshot.com/0b32zbxnb0

For further information please get in touch.

  3. Thanks for the reply. I'm not worried about the structure of my HTML for now, I can change that later. I should have made my question more clear perhaps. Basically I want to know how to call the URL for each category so that I can replace my current static html urls with dynamic links that update when changes to the categories are made. I just can't find documentation on how to do that. So if I use <ul><li><a href="{$BRANCH.url}" title="{$BRANCH.name}" ><b>{$BRANCH.name}</b></a></li></ul> then it renders my first category, I want to know how to grab the other categories as well.

As an example of what I want, I'd like my menu to be structured similar to these: - http://www.petscave.com/http://www.rush-it-uk.com/index.php  .

Sorry for my ignorance, let me know if that doesn't make sense, because I may well be phrasing my question badly.

    Hi,

Both reference websites are using our CubeCart 5 mega dropdown menu mod

  4. You can use our Suggestive Search module for CC5 that will improve store quick search results by considering certain parameters such as product name, code, description, option attribute, category name & category description.
