  1. I have updated both files and the option is available on the admin page, however the new sale prices are not shown against the products and it does not appear to work. I have checked the normal price assign which is working. these are the files I have changed Admin/skins/default/template/products.assign.php Admin/sources/products.assign.inc.php,
  2. I have cc 5.2.5. I have tried the above and i can change all products in a category,but i want to set a sale price to all products in the same category without having to do each one separately. Is this possible?

  4. bsmither, thank you for your patience and help, the invoice date is now automatically insert when order staus changes to complete. I would like it without the time but I can live with it. thanks

Hi I have completed post #7 input and the reviews now work, there is an icon that appears in the review section , see attached, which take you to a sign up page for wordpress - Sign in to Gravatar with WordPress.com Connect Gravatar now allows you to use a WordPress.com account to sign in. If you have a WordPress.com account already then you can use that, or you can create a new one. how do I stop that showing?

  7. Well I deleted the lines but it will not let me upload the edited file. Command: STOR global.inc.php Response: 553 Can't open that file: Permission denied Error: Critical file transfer error suggest you delete all these posts and we forget the whole conversation
  8. I am looking now at my phpadmin. Yes there is a ship date column.

I am sorry I am trying to keep up with you.When you say my actual password, what password is that, login to admin password, customer password, $globdb['password'] = 'xxxxxx'; and then I should delete the entire two lines mentioned above. I paid CC for a license for a shop, I did not realise I would have to learn a different language to get it working, but I do appreciate you help.

  12. Well I have added the code and nothing has changed, I have f5 each page, changed the order status etc and still no dispatch date.

  14. The Shipping information on the bottom of my invoices shows Gateway - Correct Dispatch Date - Blank Shipping Method - Correct Tracking Code - I do not use. How do I get the dispatch date filied in, I was hoping that when I changed the order status to complete this would then fill in the dispatch date, but no. Any help would be useful Rustic

  16. I have tried to post a test review and although I get sent to the moderator site to check the review, there are no reviews there to review? I also had a 'customer' leave a review, again I went to the admin page and there was no review to check, is this a bug or just another disappointment
  17. Being new to cc5 I wanted to set up some coupons as I did in cc3 with a goober mod. However I find that there is no option to setup a coupon onall products in just one category. It appears I have to search my database and add each item idividually? Surely this is not the way to do it, if it is I suggest looking at other ecommerce sites to design a better system. Please tell me that I am a muppet and I have missed something.
  18. I have reviewed a product and submitted it. My issue is that i get an email telling me there is a review, and a link to moderate it. However when i get to the admin page there are no reviews posted? Where have they gone?
  19. I have setup a shipping rate by weight, based on the Royal Mail. I offer 1st class and 2nd class. The default rate on my checkout page is second class and I want to change it to First class so the customer then has to choose 2nd class. How do I do it?
  20. The current server I am on may not have been designed for the latest cc5. What should my server be running IONcube etc
  21. I've had cc3 for 3 years, just gone to cc5. When I change the order status i.e from processing to complete, is the customer sent an email?
