  1. Nothing came through on pending. Cant seem to PM you bsmither
  2. Not sure how to test it out other than someone placing an order.
  3. We did have the order status for admin email notifications set to processing. I have now changed it to pending to see if that makes any difference. We also no longer receive emails on completed emails. Although I am not sure where this one is generated. Could there be an error under our email sending method perhaps?
  4. I have checked the language setup in admin and the default language is English. When I look under the actual UK flag for the Admin: Order received email template it comes up as English. When I test the email on Advance settings page I get the message that the test failed to execute but we do then receive an email saying testing cube cart
  5. I know - that's what made me wonder if there's a glitch in there somewhere!
  6. Any clues on how to solve the problem we are having - no email notifications coming through? Unlike bos (glad your situation is sorted!) our site is English so no problems with translation of templates there. Any other ideas? It was all running smoothly until quite recently.
  7. We are running version 6.0.12 and on the upgrade tab it says we are running the latest version. The language is set to English UK We do not get any email notifications. What I meant by the 'new order' comment was that, similarly to the person named bos who raised this topic, when we try and edit Admin:Order received it says New Order in the box and German as the language - there are eight flags showing How do I test to see if the email file has been corrupted?
  8. Hi, We have got the same problem in that we are also no longer getting emails to notifify us that an order has been placed. We are also getting the same message as bos on testing the email. The output buffering is 4096 as expected but we also get New order and the language set as german(!) when looking at the Admin: order received email template Would be very interested to hear what the solution us and also why this has started happening. Thanks
  9. OK Thanks for that. I have got our web hosters looking at the problem now - of course they keep trying to blame Cubecart or the number of plugins etc. Will look into their VPS option too if they don't come up with anything.
  10. Thank you for all your replies - I am still trying to get to the bottom of it all with our web hoster/server. Dirty Butter - any chance you can explain the images you sent through? Thanks Also should we using a vps rather than a shared server?
  11. OK Some of the things mentioned causing slow speeds are: Your page has 2 blocking CSS resources. This causes a delay in rendering your page. None of the above-the-fold content on your page could be rendered without waiting for the following resources to load. Try to defer or asynchronously load blocking resources, or inline the critical portions of those resources directly in the HTML. Optimize CSS Delivery of the following: http://fonts.googleapis.com/…llic-ext,latin,greek-ext,greek,latin-ext http://www.polscoecottage.co.uk/…out.css?a3a43216019b5ac0009b7d362e658e73 Optimize the following images to reduce their size by 1.4KiB (18% reduction). Losslessly compressing http://www.polscoecottage.co.uk/…n/skins/default/images/cubecart-logo.png could save 1.4KiB (18% reduction). and; Compacting JavaScript code can save many bytes of data and speed up downloading, parsing, and execution time. Minify JavaScript for the following resources to reduce their size by 1.1KiB (13% reduction). Minifying http://www.polscoecottage.co.uk/…dmin.js?a3a43216019b5ac0009b7d362e658e73 could save 1.1KiB (13% reduction) after compression. Does this help at all?
  12. I have just spoken to our web hosting/ server guys and they have tested our site for us and have informed us that there are some coding changes that could be made to speed up page loading times. Just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction to do this. Thanks
  13. Hi, Just trying to work out why our Cubecart site seems to be slowing down. Carrying out any admin tasks seem to take much longer now - is there a limit to the amount of space re images etc.? The site seems sluggish and although at first we were blaming our broadband speeds we are wondering if perhaps there is another reason. Any clues? Thanks
  14. OK thanks very much - I will enquire and see what our hosting provider comes up with.
