  1. I created this file. After trying to use the backup function, we got a HTTP 500 again. But no error.log file was created.
  2. We have an urgent problem since we upgraded to 5.2.11 We are unable to edit products, product groups, shop setting (config) or email templates while we can still work with orders and customers. Trying to edit a product (product list in fine), we just see the tabs and a white screen below the tabs. In addition the shop works much slower than usual. Any hints? Thanks. Server log shows: client denied by server configuration: /home/kamagras/public_html/includes/ckeditor/ckeditor.js, referer: http://kamagra-shop-deutschland.com/admin.php?_g=products
  3. One of our payment gateway provider is gspay.com. GSPAY already published a gateway for CUBECART 5. http://www.gspay.com/docs/modules_rd/cubecart5.zip The problem is, that this gateway uses the standard currency of our CC shop (which is EURO), while GSPAY can process US DOLLAR only. If someone sees any chance, to change (code) this gateway in a way that it will process US currency instead of default currency, please let me know.

    alipay gateway

An Alipay gateway would be a great lift off feature . Alipay is the largest payment provider in the world and far greater than Paypal. In Asia, the market share is over 90%. We have Chinese customers (strongly increasing number , as in other stores as well). While mass unemployment in Europe is jumping from record to record (only the British and Germans are doing better ) , the purchasing power in China is growing quite dramatically . We are in contact with an U.S. shop , which already makes 20 % of its sales in China. Alipay accepts all types of credit cards . And: Not anywhere Paypal is welcome. Tens of thousands of shop owners and customers are frustrated , the user policy is questionable , some insinuate Paypal also as fraud and abetting . The stubborn applying of the North American legislation makes some despair . Google search for " I hate Paypal " yields 36.7 million web pages . Alipay is a good alternative. Also : cash on delivery and direct debit.
  5. Sorry for the late reply, I was on vacation. I searched for but couldn't find our error log :-(
  6. We put - for testing purposes - rich snippets on some products pages of our CC shop. The results are surprisingly good. Cubecart should think about to integrate rich snippets in CC6. That would be a real lift-off feature! CC has only a small focus on SEO ... time for a change, as SEO is one of the major tasks in online business.
  7. DB backup very fast now. Site backup had again http 500. During site backup, CC used 4% more physical memory than before starting this process. About 120 MB more. http 500 came in less than 1 Minute. Mem usage of the server below 23% (in total) Maybe there is still a 128 MB limit somewhere in CC's config files?
  8. We have physically 4GB. I set max_execution_time to 300 seconds and mem to 1024 MB. Testing now ...
  9. Unfortunately we share this server with 3 others. But I could increase PHP mem limit to 2 G's and increase the values you mentioned in ini.inc.php. If you are not kidding .... In addition we have a VPN service running on this machine (incl. MPPC) and my client has an 100 MBit/sec internet connection speed. What more you need??
  10. Thanks, bsmither, we have 256 MB in place now and the problem seems to be solved (showing more than 4096 orders in orders overview). There is also a slightly increase of speed ... After a long while we are also able to make a backup of the database files, while a complete site backup still leads to a http 500 error.
  11. Just registered with Olark. Put site id in Cubecart 5.2.10 / Live Help. And ... nothing happens. Seems that this is a topic for three years now. Any solution to this? Thanks TOM
  12. I cannot find /inc.ini.php. Maybe this has to do with my FastCGI config?
  13. Hello Ian, thank you for your reply. You say: CubeCart standard payment gateways will also send payments through in whatever currency is set as default in the store. I don't get the meaning of your 'also' in this statement. I posted: So far, CubeCart is using the store's default currency when processing payments through payment gateways. You say: The EURO is obviously not a minor market, BUT credit Card processing companies dont use USD ! Here, I have to disagree. This year we are going to process about 12000 - 15000 orders. OF COURSE we have merchant accounts. PayPal is not an alternative as we think that PayPal has strange T&C - sometimes close to fraud - and ... beside their fee structure - there are thousands of shops which complained about this already. In our business we have to compare credit card processing companies with regard to their fees, rolling reserve, payout behavior and many other things. Not every credit card processing company accepts all king of business. I guess you know that. Unfortunately our merchant accounts (gateways;interfaces) can't process EURO. You say: I doubt if this is something that too many people would want. Strong statement. Have you ever thought about shops which are based in India, Australia, China, Bulgaria, Switzerland, USA, Poland, Russia ... with a major market in Europe and customers who want to pay in EURO while the credit card processing company is processing in USD only? Do you know, that - outside the UK - credit card processing companies have different requirements towards their clients? So far, we know about 10 other companies which are facing the same problem and we didn't search much. Our IT department says the this is 'not a big deal'. Just a 'tiny" change request in programming. Against the backgound that we have several problems with CubeCart because we have more than 4096 orders in our database, it is somehow obvious to us, that CubeCart is designed for very small shops ... and that we have reached these 'limits' already. On the other hand, a move to another shop system - like Magento - takes lots of time and money. So we still hope, that there will be a chance for us to stay with CubeCart. Cheers
  14. So far, CubeCart is using the store's default currency when processing payments through payment gateways. Guess this is fine for US or UK shops, as there the credit card processing companies accept USD and GBP on their gateways. In minor markets (like the 350 million people who pay in EURO) situation is different. While customers want to pay in EURO, credit card processing companies need USD on their gateways. Maybe there is a hope that this will be implemented with CC release 6? We think this is just one more switch in the store's general configuration ('select currency for payment gateways'). We don't think it is necessary to select a currency on each payment gateway. --- Any work-around until this is (maybe) implemented? Cheers TOM
  15. We have the same problem here. It started when we had more than 4096 orders in our database. From that moment on, a click on 'all orders' lead to a http 500 error. After deleting some old orders, it worked fine again (4093 orders).
