  1. Yes you're right the web site fails the Google Mobile Friendly Test. It's very frustrating that skins are still available which aren't responsive, especially when Google expect all web sites to now be responsive. I originally did this client's site in Foundation Skin but no zoom over product pictures, (didn't find this out until I'd done it) so added Crosshatch skin as it had the zoom over product pictures and altered everything to suit the client's design ideas. But all I've done is now got a non responsive web site. So do I change the skin once again to one that is responsive and has the zoom on products or do I try and make a mobile version of this web site?
  2. I was under the impression that the Crosshatch latest version was mobile device responsive?
  3. How can I make my web site fill the width of every screen. It does on the smaller screen devices but the larger computer screens it still looks like a square block in the middle. I'm using Crosshatch skin.
  4. Yes we got it sorted, :-D thank you so very much for all your help, it's very much appreciated :-D
  5. Something isn't quite right, If I do all the above, I loose the search bar in the Header space and the footer links all squash up to the bottom right hand edge.
  6. For some reason when I alter the code as above I loose the search bar along the top?
  7. Yes I'm using V6 - the Categories are fine going across the page, however, there are so many sub categories that they are vertically too long, I'm after a solution to reduce the length that the sub category list is and maybe as a solution, wrap the sub categories so they appear as maybe two or three vertical lines going down instead of one long line.
  8. Is there a way of wrapping the Category drop down links to the right, instead of having just a very long list going down the page. I'm using Skin Crosshatch.
  9. I'm trying to link the basket icon to the basket page in the header, I'm using the Crosshatch Skin, my lack of coding knowledge is letting me down. I can get it to work but it wants to appear left on the heading but if I get it to appear right on the heading the link doesn't work. Also, is there anyway of making the basket change colour on hover. http://theatre-programmes.com
  10. If you wanted to remove the Category images in Skin crosshatch, how would we achieve it as the code is different in the same named file.
  11. The client wanted the right edge of the horseshoes to be in line with the right edge of the web site, i.e. the navigational bar.
  12. Web Site working fine now on mobile devices, however I can't seem to be able to have the header image the full width of the web site, not ideal but if a comprise has to be made then it's a small one? Ever so grateful for all your advice :-D
  13. Thank you - so basically I've messed things up by putting the store logo how I have, any suggestions please how I can have the store logo where is it but still have it scale to fit the device? (it's not just the heading that doesn't scale to fit, the whole width of the web site doesn't) fine on landscape just not on portrait (on any size device)
  14. I used the Foundation skin for this web site: http://www.houseofhorse.co.uk which my client is now filling up with stock. It meets with Google's Mobile Device Friendly requirements, however if viewed on any mobile device in Landscape all is well, however in Portrait only half the web site is viewed. Any ideas please how I can resolve the problem?
  15. Is there a plugin I can use to get round the problem?
  16. Hi, not using the e-Tone skin, just the Foundation skin which I've altered for my client. I didn't realise that the zoom feature wouldn't work on the Foundation Skin, I will remember this for future commissions.
  17. When I try and add an image to the body (sides of the web site) it also appears as the background to the web site, but I want this bit to remain white. I've followed the steps above but I can't make it work, so I must be doing something wrong?
  18. I've sussed it, for anyone else needing help with this one you need to alter line 2821 on the Foundation.css
  19. Thank you, yes I use the Firefox Inspect Element tool to help me custom most of the template but I just can't figure this problem out.
