  2. So I noticed yesterday that a few orders in my order list say "cancelled". I didn’t set them to it so obviously CubeCart had to have set them to it. This morning I noticed two more orders in the last 24hr that show up as "cancelled". I noticed that I have about 50+ orders that have been cancelled. The issue is(kind of) - I still got a payment - I sent out product - the order as far as I can tell was never "cancelled". I checked my PayPal for an order a few days ago that shows up in my order list as cancelled; and in PayPal I still received funds. First off - I don’t want to end up sending anyone free product. Secondly - has anyone seen this/had this happen to them?
  3. @Dirty Butter Ok I checked that - checked my "SPF record" and see all the data it told me to see (I think) but I have no idea if its good or bad or indifferent. I think its the main email account that was used for the main email address for the web site years and years ago - "AOL"
  4. Ok - so I think Hostgator MAY or may not have fixed it but I doubt it - the return email was a little confucing so ................... How do I turn off all emails sent to customers?
  5. @ @Dirty Butter > Could this have been done thru Cube Cart Admin control on accident or no? Because I have NEVER touched the code at all. Could it be missing from the skins I checked/use? Current Skin - Mican > Blue (Original Skin) Used skins since issue - Vanilla, Nota > Blue, Mican > Black All three used skins showed no T&C.   6. I have the Recaptcha box and image and [ ] Check this box to subscribe to our mailing list. (NOTE: next to this [ ] there is a space - and it would appear as if something is clickable but it does nothing or clicks the [ ] only. I see no - Terms and Conditions box at all. RESOLVED RESOLVED "" SEE BOTTOM POST "" I reently had a customer contact me and let me know that when they tried to "register" on the website it gave an error as such: """ The following errors were detected: Please agree to the Terms & Conditions.""" I tried filling out my register form and submitting it- but I literay receivet that same tmessage. What could this be? Correct - but those were from the "Contact us" form - that works now - these are from the ordering process in general - which a email is sent during certain steps (which I know you are aware of) but those emails are not working. Correct - I am receiving email returns on orders placed and orders "complete" status that I know of for sure. I was under the impression that three emails go out for each order 1> Order placed initially. 2> Order paid for (which in most cases happens at the same time because my only payment process right now is paypal) So I may only be getting 2 per order but I have not checked 100% 3> Order being changed to complete in Cube Cart. But again the order placed and order complete emails regardless are failing. Why?

  10. Well after fixing a problem with my "Contact Us" page not sending emails to my email addresses I uncovered another issue. This issue would be that my customers order "status" emails are not sending to my customers. It’s being blocked or otherwise denied delivery to my customers and I don’t know why. Example: Order placed - customer is supposed to get an email. This appears in my site email address after every instance an email is to be sent: "Mail Delivery System - 11:27 AM - Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender" This is supposed to happen when the order is placed, when the order is paid for, and when I place the order as complete. All three things cause emails to be sent. So I am getting three failed to send emails for every single order I have had in my site since I upgraded to CC5. My email account had more then 500+ emails all saying the same thing. What might be the issue? Are all my emails being blocked by every email provider out there?
  11. RESOLVED Fixed by making email addresses with in host gator then forward emails to my own regular emails - it goes into my spam folders right now but it still works. I can make my regular email address not do that easy now. Thanks again to @bsmither - seriously helped me out!
  12. I did the same thing to my store for this same reason. I also couldn’t get my "https" to work either but my SSL provider was insanely helpful almost immediately after requesting and implementing my SSL. They responded within minutes of emailing them and we had about a dozen emails back and forth. Could not have been more pleased.
  13. I do in fact have a Gmail email address. The email address I used in the "newsletter" test was that same gmail account. This is also the email address linked to the "web site issues" department. I also used a yahoo email address for one of the test emails. The "general questions" email address is a AOL email address. None of the email addresses used are of the same server name used by the website accept the AOL email address - I do believe And yet none of the test "contact us" emails have been received
  14. Ok - completed this task and received an email seconds after the test email was sent. When I say "used another email address" I mean in the Contact Form window in CubeCart it gives you options as such: """ Contact Form Settings It is possible to specify specific departments and email addresses below. I tested emails from the web sites contact page to both departments. Here: https://www.timesforgottendvd.com/index.php?_a=contact I also used 2 email addresses for the "General Questions" department and neither one of those two email addresses received an email. And the third email address for the "web site issues" did not receive any emails either. So none of the email addresses used as contacts have received any emails from the web sites contact page. FYI the information box "Form submissions should be sent to" is blank - does this need to be filled? I noticed on another post the problem was with the web sites hoster not allowing emails to go through their servers - could this be the same issue? I use Hostgator
  15. Yes indeed - Every time a test email was sent the web page jumps to the homepage and a green banner reads - "Thank you for your message, a member of staff will reply to your email shortly." I literally just sent another email to check the text that pops up
  16. So I set up the contact us page thru “File Manager > Contact Form†I input the info and sent a test email – nothing Used a different email address – nothing Used a third email address – nothing What am I doing wrong? My Cubecart is up to date with the latest version.

So does this allow me to sell items of similar kinds and have the site auto discount them as a kit or do they have to select the "kit" as a item in the site which "includes" the items in the kit in the sale? It sounds to me like I have to designate a "kit" that can be sold as an item which includes several items. What I need to do is as follows: Customer selects item A - adds to cart Customer selects item B - adds to cart Customer selects item C - adds to cart Customer selects item D - adds to cart Customer selects item E - adds to cart Items A, B, and E are all the same "type" of merchandise which also means they are the same price normally I need the web site to identify the similarity and discount the three items as a "buy three and save" type deal. Does this kit do this or would that have to be done another way? Such as grouping or something? Or can it be done at all at this point and time?
  18. Hello, I want to know if Cube Cart has a multi, group, bulk sales option? I have products of the same "kind" in different categories that I want to dicsount if a customer buys multiple items of a different kind. I see that in a single itme you can place a price for buying multiple - well I would like to know if CC can set a price for buying multiple items from a "group"? I want to offer a discount on like items being purchsed. Is thid possible?
  19. Hey - I was told in another post I should remove the category text that says "No products found." How exactly do I do that in my categories that have SUB categories but no product? I can't find it in any options that I have tried CC5

After much trial and error and some extra editing and image designing - the web sites acceptable Much more custom work could be done but for now - I thinks its ok http://timesforgottendvd.com/ Bet you cant browse without wanting to buy at LEAST something on the site! !
