Just as an update...these problems have now been resolved but I can't report as to what was the cause or the solution. Hosting company tried a number of things re settings etc with no difference. Today the web sites in question have been moved on to another server at the same hosting company and everything is now working fine but nobody seems to know how or why. Again...thank you for the suggestions

I put a post up last week because I was adding new products and images to a new web site and the images were not being displayed on the web site. Somebody suggested there was a problem with the permissions and to get our hosting company to reset them. We did this and the images were then visible.They said they tried doing a permissions reset through File Manager and that did not work so they had to run a maintenance script that reset our whole account permissions. However, we are now finding every day we add new products and new images, the permissions are getting reset so the images do not display again. The hosting company is now running the maintenance script every day for us until this issue is resolved. I am adding new images when I add a new product...does this make any difference or should I add all images through the images file manager? Is there anything else I could be doing wrong? Any suggestions would be welcome. Thank you

Just for an update...the permissions had got screwed somehow. Hosting company reset them to what they should be and everything is fine again. many thanks for the help to get me sorted so quickly....greatly appreciated.

Thanks for this. I would not begin to know how to make any custom edits so I dont think it is that. i will check with the hosting company and see what they say. Again thank you for the advice.

I have a newish web site that we have been adding content to www.mollysdirect.co.uk. I started with the Foundation skin then downloaded Kurouto and went with the grey theme. Everything was fine while we were adding content and images. I then tried to see what the site would look like with the Foundation skin so went back to it and then reverted to the Kurouto skin. Now, for every item where I was displaying an image, i just get the image name instead of the image. If I select that item, I can hover over the image name and see the image. You can see the affect by viewing the web site above....any body got any ideas on how to get me back to where I was?

Still automatically sets my Paypal Business account email address. I know I can override that but it just looks odd for any customer going on there.

Apologies before I ask this as it is probably very basic. I am very new to Cubecart and not particularly technical. I have set up the Paypal gateway to accept payments and given it the email address for my Paypal Business account. I have then gone through the process of a test sale and clicked on Checkout. The Paypal option comes up but it has my business email address in there and prompts for the password. If a bona fide customer were to go to purchase would the same come up or would it come up blank for them to fill their details in. So, just to clarify as well, just by entering my Paypal business email address, the system has enough information to process Paypal payments to my account?
