Long story short we need to move a store on a site we sold. The store is ours and plan to move it to a new domain. In the past I have migrated sites using PHPadmin and moving the files. We dont have easy access to the server anymore but might be able to talk to new owners into helping. But wanted to check and see if there is a way to backup and migrate the store from inside Cubcart. Its a VPS that is self managed. That did the trick but took two attempts at it as the mb_string addition did not work the first time around. Thanks much for your help.

I do not see MB_String anywhere. But in PHP I have mbstring.encoding_translation set to off and oddly my mbstring.language is set to Japanese. I wonder if that should be "all" Here is php info file. http://c7z06owners.com/phpinfo.php

I went back to the first version by restoring the database and uploading the files again. The store is once again visible but clicking on the links for products take me SEO friendly URL which does not work. Rich

I migrated a site and having issues getting the store to work. At first it would load but blank pages when clicking products. I messed around with the .htaccess and did upgrade to current version from the admin panel and now I get nothing (except admin) I added the ini-custom.inc.php and enabled debug. I am seeing this in my log. I have nothing under hooks and even tried disabling the two plugins I have. I was about to force the upgrade. BlueHost has removed support (the icon) from the dedicated panel however if you know the link path then you can pull it up anyway.

Was able to upgrade to 5.4 regardless of what I was told.So fine now. Thanks

I have a customer that I have a demo site setup for that is running PHP 5.2 that cant be upgraded. The CubeCart was a version of 6.x and working. Showed a new update available with when I clicked it there was no warning that PHP 5.4 was needed and it instantly flipped to a page that says " You need PHP 5.4 or higher to use CubeCart." Cant get into the admin section or anything. It happened so fast I dont think it had a chance to do anything. How can I fix this? Thanks

Not sure this is related but can you shut the size charts link off? It appears it was added when I used options. But I really dont need it. I looked around for a place to disable but did not see it.
