  2. Thanks for the response. I'm using Panic's Transmit. I've attached a screenshot from Transmit's settings - do you think I should choose to 'skip the file' if it already exists? I guess this wouldn't work, because then it would skip uploading the new 'admin.php' file, for example. I don't seem to be able to find any setting which defines behaviour for empty .v. full directories. Appreciate any more thoughts you have on this. Is there an FTP client you might recommend for Mac that you know has the correct behaviour? Thanks.
  3. Hi there, I'm running 6.1.8 and looking to upgrade to 6.1.13. I opted to use FTP transfer to make the upgrade, but when I transferred the full content of the upgrade zip file, several upgrade folders overwrote/deleted some of my content such as images etc. I uploaded the upgrade files to my 'www' folder (essentially publicHTML). The installation/upgrade forum post suggests to copy over ALL upgrade files, but I don't want it to delete any custom content. Can someone shed some light on how to approach the transfer differently? Or perhaps there are a core set of files and folders from the 6.1.13 upgrade zip that are necessary to upgrade but do not overwrite content (ie. Could I FTP transfer everything but the images, for example?) Thanks for any help you can provide.

    My IP starts with 96 and my tech fellow starts with 187 as he is the one who ran the error log. We are both experiencing the same problem when we try and log in as one of my customers. 2 different computers in 2 different cities in different provinces and different browsers.

    Thank you. What is odd is that I do not use Safari. I am using Microsoft Edge and my tech fellow that does all the updates for me uses Chrome as his browser and the error message that I posted above is what he got on Chrome. So non of us uses Safari and yet a Safari loss of session is appearing?

    Hello Thank you for getting back to me. The update was from version 6.1.5 and was done manually using an FTP.
  9. I recently upgraded to version 6.1.8 from 6.5 and when I try to log in to as one of my customers to enter an order received by phone etc. I can no longer log into customers account. It brings me to my main store page and I need to enter the customers e-mail and his password which I do not see. In the past I was able to log into customers accounts and make additions or adjustments no problem. Has anything changed?

  12. How do I make the delivery section which shows the shipping date and the track number visible to customers when they check their order history? Same for the comments section. I know they get an e-mail when I add a comment that customers can see but once that e-mail is gone / deleted by the customer they can no longer see it. If it is visible in the order history section it is there for life. Any help is greatly appreciated.
