Yep, that's me, I am a special type of stupid! I will bring the broken and unusual to the forum.

Yes, I have the two references in global.inc.php but pointing to different admin folders, eg admin.a1234 on the first line and admin.z0987 on the second line.
I have done a manual install again via FTP on 6.1.8 but software said I have already updated to the latest version.
Am I able to manually update backward, back to 6,1,7 and might wait for another update later in the year.

Thanks for that Info and your help, I will do a manual reinstall for the 6.1.8 as the global.in.php is showing two different admin.XXXX folders with the first few lines.

Hello Dirty Butter, Thanks for the welcome, I have done a couple of upgrades as been working on the website since April or May 2017, usually have just done the auto upgrades when admin page said required.

Finally joined the forums as have been browsing them for a while, My name is Shaun, I have used cubecart in the past, as well as opencart and 3dCart, also had a go at Magento but have come back to cubecart, Constantly reading the forums as not sure about some current website errors with regards to contact us form and PayPal. I have been active in other forums while a member and intend to be an active member on this forum, not an expert in programming or html but do like to help other where I can.

I am not sure if I suffered a similar problem when upgrading a while back on 6.1.8 and got a server error as too many "entry process" were running, my hosting company eventually blocked me off the server as they thought I was spamming the website as trying to log in to admin constantly but was unable to, I just confirmed my IP address with them and they seem to reset the entry process figure back to zero and I logged back into admin straight away, not sure if this is exactly your problem but I thought I would share my similar experience. Log in to your cpanel and see how what the number is on the entry process chart,

6.1.8 Upgrade Problems

No idea how I did it, I did once reinstall a backup in Cpanel when having trouble with my admin login, I think my cart is pretty broken, I don't really wish to continue working on it if not stable or set up right. Can I rollback the cart to an earlier version that just had the simple admin login and not admin.xxxx. I have already invested in the ebay software by noodleman and using that for ebay orders with no problems.
