  3. ** RESOLVED ** I have two Cubecart sites, one I've had a few years and a new one I'm setting up. Neither had Google analytics setup. I've added the unique codes to each site (Store settings| Features| Google Analytics). However, neither site is registering any data in the Analytics portal.   4. By way of an update it appears that this is now a recognised issue with version of Chrome since v73.. Some info here Looks like Cubecart can apply the suggested fix in the product? Thanks
  5. I run two Cubecart sites. One is in production (Site1) http://www.airevalleyclassics.co.uk The other is effectively a new build but not in production due to an issue I had (KEY called 'custom_oid_2) which the 6.2.5 upgrade seems to have fixed: Site 2) This site is not online. However, since moving both sites to 6.2.5 this week some new issues have appeared: ;( O Site 2) Warning: Cache data not written (Memcached). in /home/domains/vol3/242/2035242/user/htdocs/classes/cache/memcached.class.php on line 234 Turning off memcache in the admin panel gets rid of the error but kills performance. I think I've encountered this problem previously, but can't remember what I did to fix it.. O Site 1 & 2) I'm using bx-slider code on a couple of pages. This now no longer works correctly on Chrome or Opera, but does work on MS Edge. More specifically the slider rotates the images, but clicking to go to the specified link doesn't work properly. If you click during the transition it seems to work. After the transition it might work if you click in exactly the right place on the image. Looking at the debug in my browser it looks like there are higher layers of code which are not passing the mouse click through properly. These seem to occur each time an action is taken on the site: File: [controller.admin.pre_session.inc.php] Line: [26] "SET @@time_zone = 'Europe/London'" - Unknown or incorrect time zone: 'Europe/London' I see from other posts that is a MySQL issue with how they have time setup on the server/database. My hosts MySQL version is: Server version: 5.6.44-log - MySQL Community Server (GPL) Protocol version: 10 This isn't an issue for e other than clogging the logs... Any help or advice appreciated.   6. As an update, I resolved this after some time on the phone with the hosting provider. Seems they had an issue at their end which caused the spurious results. All working as expected now using SSL. Thanks for everyones input.
  7. Havenswift, Thanks for your suggestion. I'd had similar thoughts to you, as the clue is that the log says 'not logged in'. So I changed the password for the account using a simple password and confirmed it worked on my outlook client. Then I changed the password on the email config and got the same failed result. So I then used another working email account details in the email settings and that also fails in the same way. It's almost as if the email account username and password are not being passed to the mailserver. I'm stumped at this point.

  10. Ian Indeed, go figure.. To clarify, the settings I listed are those I used with Fasthosts previously, which worked and which they told me to use... When I say previously.. Due to a severe performance issue, they moved my site to another server. Since then email hasn't worked. I've tried all the usual combinations of configuration, SMTP with and without SSL/TLS, ports 465, 587 and 25 and auth on/off. Been on with their tech support people today (who are pretty useless to be honest) and they haven't come to any conclusions. I did wonder whether the server move may mean an issue between that server and their mail host which is stopping correct comms, such as firewall. Which I have suggested to them as something to look into. To be honest I might sack them off as their ability to even understand an issue is now problematic and you have to lead them through it that much you might as well be doing it yourself. I threw the question on here as a quick search showed lots of others seemingly posting issues where mail didn't work when configured correctly.. Cheers
  11. Due to an ongoing hosting problem I've had to rebuild my site. I now find that I cannot get email working. Previously I had successfully used SMTP with TLS, port 587 and no authentication.   12. HI I've changed the phrases for desc_1 to desc_6 and name_1 to name_6 in Languages>order state/statuses. However, these changes are not seen in the 'order status' drop down when viewing a customer order under dashboard/orders - the original values remain... What have I missed? Thanks in advance.

  15. Hi there, I am currently setting up Cubecart for my store. The site sells motorcycles and parts. I want to be able to show the motorcycles I have for sale, but not allow someone to purchase via an 'add to basket' button (which shows if I set a stock level). Neither do I want to have an 'unavailable' button that is displayed if I set stock to zero. Ideally I'd like no button or one that says 'please contact us' and/or I can put a 'contact us' link in the product description. Anyone have a solution to this? Thanks in advance.
